Thank you for helping Elim Lutheran Church of Robbinsdale celebrate their 100 Year Anniversary during the Whiz Bang Days parade! The food was delicious!! The crowd loved the food truck and the event. Even though we dodged some quick rain showers, people came back for more fun! And we sold out a half-hour early so I consider that a win! Mike was great. (I didn’t get the other helper’s name.) We will definitely do this again next year!
We Catered the Market BBQ food truck for a corporate event in Bloomington. The Food was amazing and the staff were extremely efficient. They got through 350+ people in an hour and a half and everyone was ranting and raving about how delicious the food was. We will definitely be using Market Mar-B-Que again for our events
What a unique spot to stop at for casual BBQ dining in the Minneapolis area! The Cuban sandwich was amazing and the wait staff was friendly and attentive.
We really wanted to like this place because it's not far from our home and this southern girl loves barbecue. We went to eat at the restaurant which was clean and well decorated. The food arrived fast but unfortunately we were just as quickly disappointed. My husband ordered fried chicken (he tries it everywhere) and it was so dry he did not even want to eat it. I ordered the brisket which I expected to be tender, juicy and flavorful. It was none of those things and instead was more akin to roast beef slices than brisket. Ironically the menu talks about how their ribs don't have a lot of sauce because bbq sauce often "covers up" mistakes but this brisket was drenched in bbq sauce... (brisket shouldn't even need sauce). Moreover, the price was ridiculous. Unfortunately, we will never get back our $70 and will not be back.
We had the ribs, the bbq chicken, beans and coleslaw and everything was very good, very much like the old location. I ate with 5 other people who loved everything as well, seeing all these one star *dot reviews spurred me to write this one, and honestly, it was great. and honestly I was underwhelmed by the cornbread, so there, 4 dots. :)
Hi Anthony! Thank you so much for renting your truck to us for our event…we had a great turnout, and everyone raved about the food! I even had a couple customers asking me how the pricing works due to interest in possibly renting for grad parties! The kids working the truck were polite, efficient, and very personable. You’ve got a great business and I will personally be making a trip to the restaurant sometime. Thank you again for everything…we appreciate it!
I’m crushed. I’ve been coming to the Market Bar-B-Que for over 50 years and tonight they turned me away and lost me forever. We had a hankering for those dry ribs and fries and buttered toast, and so we checked their website which said the kitchen was open until 2:00 am so off we went, driving 30 minutes to their location in Northeast. But when we arrived just after 8 o’clock we were told they were no longer seating people in the restaurant, but that if we wanted to take carry-out, we could. Come on Anthony, that’s no way to treat a five decade customer, especially with all the new barbecue competition out there! You’ve lost your touch. Goodbye and good luck.
Had an absolutely wonderful experience. We've been coming here for many years foods always great, very pricey but worth it. The service is also always fairly good but never found over the top service until our visit last week. Let me say, we had Jennifer and she made our dinner wonderful. We will request her everytime and always go when shes working. She is probably the best waitress weve ever had in all our dining experience. Thanks Jennifer for making our dinner so wonderful. We will be back to see you soon! Market BBQ management, this is your best server yet and give this gal a raise!! Foods pretty great as well!!!!
Ribs were the toughest I've ever had. Baked potato didn't come with butter or sour cream. Who eats a plain baked potato? You could squeeze the butter out of the toast there was so much. I guess this is why Stanley's bar was packed and this place was completely empty. You live you learn.
I have had ribs throughout the USA and I love these ribs! They are real meat, not "pulled pork on a bone". They have an amazing flavor and bite. If you have ever been to Rendezvous in Memphis, you know what I mean. These are just as good as the best of Memphis but with a better flavor. And that is without sauce. Amazing. Keep doing what your doing Market Barbeque!
