One of my favorite places to go and bring my friends and my partner. The food is amazing, I’m always pleased, and the coffee is spot on. Even when it’s running a little slow I don’t mind - the friendly staff and warm atmosphere means you feel comfy just sitting and sipping your coffee before you get a MOUNTAIN of food cooked to perfection. With a rich history, tons of awards, and fantastic staff and food, I can’t recommend Maria’s more.

Nice place, very good flavor in their dishes. Entrance a bit confusing and the attention is good, but I know they can improve

Great Place! Fantastic Colombian Food!

Tried this place and it was better than any Deny’s or Perkins but didn’t have that authentic flavor I was looking for. It has a great setting and very nice servers who are polite and get you squared away quickly. The food though … if you’re looking for that real authentic flavor that might send you to the ER in a few months, this isn’t it. This has a very straight to the point what you see is what you get sort of taste to it. I got this mixed up with Maria’s restaurant on Lake street. I’d place this 4th on my list 1. Maria’s Restaurant 2. Fatt Nat’s, 3. Keys Cafe, 4. Maria’s Restaurant. It’s good and well prepared.. I was just looking for something else.

Great breakfast space with welcoming decor and plenty of light. The service was quick and friendly...but the food was amazing! I will definitely be adding Marias into my brunch rotation!

If you are looking for authentic Colombian food you will be very disappointed, and it was our 3rd time giving it a chance. Yes we looked at the “Colombian “ menu. Beans probably from a can, plantains with onions and tomato, empanadas from frozen aisle of a store I’m guessing. Waiter didn’t know what colombiana was until explaining. The only thing decent the arepa. If they want to claim to be Colombian food they need to do better.

Four of us from my family visited just after noon on Sunday. The greeter checked our vaccination verification and led us to a table for four near the tall outside windows. The dining area was spacious and we weren't near other diners. Our server Abigail served us right away. We had hot chocolate for beverages and ordered that day's Sunday special and a couple of the Colombian breakfast combinations. Our eggs were prepared to our individual orders. The orders came up quickly. The food was EXCELLENT. We will be back. There was a guitarist playing live music as we dined and we enjoyed that a lot. Highly recommended.

I loved the food, Best traditional chorizo I've ever eaten abroad Colombia, delicious beans, and the service was amazing, I'll be there next time visiting Minneapolis. Doña Maria is incredible charming.

Way too many people crowded into this small dining area, they were not practicing social distancing at all!My friend and I left immediately, we did not want to get the trumpf virus!I really doubt that I will ever, more likely, I will NEVER go back to Maria's Cafe.

Chachapas venezolanas ???great service not expensive.
