Fish was cooked OK but underseasoned and poor quality cod (walleye was good). Cole slaw was a joke, very gross and dry. The fries were overcooked and tasted weirdly sweet, as if some of them were sweet potato fries? Cheese curds were OK. Clam strips not impressive. Overpriced.
Wow! A true neighborhood gem! Some of the best fish and chips I have had. Not a lot of space fo sit, but they sure do s good deal of take out. The store even has salt water Taffy. I work in a hotel and will suggest this place for casual local eats. Awesome customer service ?
Was not impressed. Very Disappointing. Stop in order 2 walleyes dinners to goGot my orders got home and very soggy. ? First off when comes to frying fish you drain the grease off the fish. Second you don't put greases fish on top of greases fries without a layer of paper between them to soak up access grease that is lefted on your dinner. Paying $35 dollars for 2 greases fish dinners and soggy fries is not the way to do business no matter how busy service is if you're looking for repeat customers. Repeat customers business should be important to strive as a business. ☹
I loved the Walleye Fish is taste great. I didn't care for the fries or the coleslaw (not enough dressing). They have jalapeño tarter sauce that tasted great as well
I've been to their Mpls location a few times.Its kind of pricey for the quality of the product.Halibut was decent in flavor and size. Batter was lightly coated.Fries were very soggy. No flavor or seasoningColeslaw was bland, all cabbage and no flavor.Skip the meal option and just get the fish only.They serve cheese curds, poutine and salt water taffy too.Great place for take out. Limited seating inside. Watch out take out bags show/leak grease marks. Place bags properly in your car. Would be willing to try the walleye or shrimp next visit.

This location is just as good as the other one in saint paul. The food was amazing, & new fish tacos were great and a nice addition to the menu. Will definitely come back as always.
Me and my friend went to this location on Friday October 8. Enjoyed the food; thought it was great until a few hours later I was on the bathroom floor with clear signs of food poisoning until around 2am. I had the 2 piece walleye with chips and a side of cheese curds. My friend got the 2 piece cod with chips and clams. Tasted good needed salt but man not worth being sick after a long work week
The fish, i tried them all, is very well done. breading is light and crispy. It was lacking flavor. it needed some seasoning. If you have a favorite rub to put on, or some spices, you are good to go. The shrimp were delicious. Good home cut fries..
Had high hopes for this place! It was horrible. We had 5 shrimp tacos and 4 had 2 shrimp and 1 had 1 shrimp the tacos were pretty much pico de gallo. We also ordered a walleye taco and again it was all pico de gallo. My husband had the halibut that was good. We ordered the poutine fries and they horrible, they had no taste. We were very disappointed.
