I wanted to like the rooftop more, but it was packed on a nice summer day, and getting a seat was a bit cutthroat. I actually think when I go back, I would like to sit on the open-air main level, with a view of the street traffic. It had a cozy, "everyone else is outside" vibe, and would be a good place to go solo with a good book.
A staple of Uptown. Great beer. Delicious food. A great rooftop patio. And some fun event nights, like trivia.

Stopped by for a brew and burger after a flight and needing to kill time. I was so pleased I chose this establishment. I walked upstairs to the roof (there’s also an elevator) and open mic was just starting. I ordered the single with truffle fries and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The truffle fries were crinkle cut which I loved too. I chose the Old Folks Boogie to sip on and it was an ideal pale ale. If I lived in town I’d be a regular visitor!
Best brewery in Uptown! Great beer and food options. Lots of indoor seating. Great patio on roof with nice views of the city. A perfect spot for summer days or chilly days with a big fire! A fun laidback vibe. Cool merchandise for sale. Good spot for Uptown people watching. Very friendly staff.
I... Wasn't super impressed. I had two beers I didn't really like, so after the first one, I ordered a second which was the Sideways. The bartender accidentally poured me something else, which was extremely sour and if you knew me (I eat lemons straight) that's saying something. She then realized it wasn't the correct pour and gave me the right one which was better. But, when she took away my other two beers she was pretty sarcastic saying, "You don't want either of these?" Which I didn't, because I didn't think they were good. ?♀️ Anyway, with all the amazing breweries around, I probably won't make a point of coming back here any time soon.
Good brewery with an amazing roof top patio. The beers are great and have a good rotating selection. Have a great Mug Club too!The staff are great and get the giant fried pretzel!
Beer, Burgers and fries were delicious. They had a blood drive going on at the same time. That was a little weird but it was still a good time.
Bartenders do not consistently enforce their identification policy. I wanted to buy two drinks at at once and was told one ID is required for each drink. Another person in my group was sold two drinks no problem by the same bartender. Overall, not a good experience due to inconsistency in enforcing their own policies.
