I hadn’t been here for a few months and the vibe seemed very different this afternoon than usual. Sitting at the bar is usually great, but today no one seemed to want to take our order? We had to wave people over and I felt like I was intruding on their time. I don’t need fancy service or anything, but some water and forks with our meals would have been nice. Maybe the staff is having a hard time and needs a morale boost? Regardless the food was rad as always. I’ll definitely up my review next time if service improves.
Great vibes here! The patio is perfect for people watching, getting good drinks and awesome background music, you have to try the Empanadas here sheesh!!
Ordered takeout from this lovely little restaurant in downtown Excelsior. The vibe inside seemed pretty fun, though the space is not huge. I was pretty satisfied with my veggie burrito though the side of rice felt a little underwhelming especially because the same rice was inside the burrito ?
Lagos Tacos is great. I highly recommend either fish or shrimp tacos. I've never once left unhappy after a visit!The music is a little loud for my tastes, but I'm probably in the minority and won't take any points away for that.Servers are attentive, kind, and highly competent.Prices appear to have gone up a little bit since my last visit, like everywhere else, but the food is excellent and still worth it.
I ordered Lago Tacos catering through EZ Cater and could not have been happier. The ease of ordering was amazing. Got a quick response when was looking to confirm days leading up to the event. The delivery was on prompt, with a friendly driver, quick instructions on the chafing dish setup and more than enough silverware, utensils, paper products, etc. And then the food. YUM! Every single person raved about how good the food was. Cannot recommend them enough. And be sure to get the guac of course!
I went for Happy Hour March 14th. I had the Walleye Tacos, which were so scrumptious, and a delicious house Margarita! I highly recommend visiting Lago Tacos.
I had put in a request for no onions on my pickup order and was afraid that because the online ordering said "no substitutions" that I would not have my request fulfilled. However, the staff came through and even made me chuckle when I unpacked the order when I got home. Thanks, Lago, for making my night better! Your al pastor tacos are THE BEST.
Alyssa was a great server she held her busy section down with my 4 top family included tacos where great in size and price as well as the drinks.
We ordered through DoorDash. My order of three tacos had two of the tacos wrong. When I called the restaurant I was told by the hostess “this happens all the time when we are busy, I’m so sorry.” My friend’s burrito was wrong as well and only had rice in it. I guess don’t go here when they’re bush :/
