Yum! What a cute place. This is some of the freshest tasting ice cream I’ve ever had! Some many fun, unique flavors!
Let me preface this by saying I've never written a bad review EVER but I visited La La last night and was so taken back by the rude customer service we received. I live super close by and was so excited to try this place with my sister because they had a good amount of vegan flavors available, which can be hard to come by. As soon as we walked in, I could tell the woman behind the counter wasn't going to be friendly. My sister asked very politely if she could sample a few flavors (they have some unique flavors so this can't be an uncommon request). The woman replied with something like "uhhhh two is fine" making it clear she was annoyed with the request, which seemed odd as we were the only customers there at the time, we weren't holding up a line. She then rudely rushed us through the rest of our transaction, I felt so unwelcome I just ordered the first ice cream flavor I looked at. The ice cream itself was good, but there are plenty of good ice cream places around that won't treat you like a burden from the moment you walk in. I suggest this woman works on her people skills, or no longer deals face-to-face with customers as I can't imagine who would want to return after this experience. Based on other reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence.
Local small business.Has a better dairy-free selection than anyone I've ever seen, makes all her ice creams and sorbets from scratch in the kitchen behind the shop, and is constantly trying out creative new flavor combinations. Does not use syrupy shortcuts or dyes, so the end result is pleasantly sweet and tastes like real chocolate and fruit.The dark chocolate sorbet is to die for--I judge all chocolate sorbets by Lala's.
Nice neighborhood spot with good traditional ice cream as well as GF and Vegan options. Lunch dishes looked good, so need to go back. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Best ice cream in Mpls in my opinion. Homemade ice cream & waffle cones…what more could you ask for? The flavors are great & I love that the owner plays around & tests out flavors because they have some very fun & unique options! The food is also amazing! The veggie sandwich is my favorite but everything I have tried has been phenomenal.
We love this place. They take great pride in the food they make and it is reflected in the taste. We have had pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and their ice cream and don't have a single complaint. I almost feel guilty leaving a review, because it is one of those spots that are so good you just don't want to share!!Love this place and am so glad it is open again!
The raspberry honey ice cream was stellar; it's the perfect choice for a tangy ice cream with a filling mouth feel.The gruyere grilled cheese was more than worth it! It's the best possible *grilled cheese * (not a melt)
Really love this place!! They have great vegan ice cream options and delicious veggie sandwiches as well. I also really enjoyed the vegan rosemary potato salad last summer.
