Great sushi. Awesome atmosphere and BEAUTIFUL interior.Great deal for all you can eat. They are EXTREMELY short staff. They are doing the best they can but it'll take a while to be seated, get served and to get get drinks. But when you do order it's quickly made.

Food was ok, it's what you expect for all you can eat sushi place. What wasn't great was the speed of service. The food took forever to arrive. It also felt like the server was being overloaded and didn't visit our table frequently to take new orders. We were hoping to be there for way less time, but it took 2.5 hours for us to get "our fill" of sushi that felt like it was coming at a drip-feed.This wasn't my first time at a Kyoto sushi and not my first time at this location.I'm very let down. It did not feel remotely worth the $40 dollars per person (all you can eat dinner cost, tax, 20% tip to the overloaded server). Felt neglected and left in a bad mood.

The positive: the restaurant was clean and the server was okay. The salmon seemed fresh. The negative: Literally everything except from the salmon looked and tasted old. The ginger was brown and dry and stuck in large clumps. The tilapia was dry and rubbery and had a white film on it. Even the seaweed salad tasted old and slimier than usual. We tried a variety of things, and most of it looked and tasted like it was made the day before.

A little short staffed. Hiring for a new sushi chef. Not very busy otherwise. It's not a big deal to me. Was catching up with friends. A good hang out spot. Great selection.

So far my experience has been with delivery.I LOVE the sweet potato roll!10/10

Get a group of friends and do the all you can eat sushi. I'm normally not much of a sushi person but Kyoto is good enough I'll eat just about anything my friends order. They also have stuff like dumplings, spring rolls, teriyaki chicken and salmon and other stuff if you aren't big into sushi as well. The service is fast and friendly as well (depending on how busy they are of course).

My brother and I got food poisoning after eating here on 2/18. It was the only meal we shared while I was in town, so it had to be from this restaurant..We both got violently ill 1 day after eating your shrimp tempura.Something tasted off so I couldn't finish my roll while my brother had a couple..I never post reviews, but the number you have listed on Google does not work. Would rather speak to a manager to inform you.I missed my flight because I cannot travel.Management/Owners, I hope you read this as I doubt we were the only ones to get sick that day.Needless to say we will never be going back.

I’ve been to Kyoto many times. The last time was a bit frustrating. We were out in the corner by the bathroom and the server didn’t come and check on us often… so it made it a bit tricky to get something added to the order for all you can eat. The sushi itself is sub par. But by golly, even though I’m giving a 3 star rating I will be back time and time again. It’s just a staple in my life at this point,

We were satisfied with the amount of sushi for the price but I wish there were more baked options.

Listen to all the negative reviews. I never review anything but I had to let everyone know to save their money and go somewhere nicer for sushi like Billy Sushi in North Loop. The fish here is low quality and just tastes off. The hibachi offerings are just okay. Okay at best inedible at worst. The service was decent though. You can tell the servers are working really hard. Bathrooms were dirty too.
