Best no-frills comfort Indian food in the skyways! My personal favorite butter chicken and naan in the twin cities.I was heartbroken when I thought this place hadn't made it through COVID having seen it closed a few times over lunch, but now it appears they're back and I couldn't be happier. Typing this up has me hungry all over again. Brb, need more of that tasty tasty butter chicken.
Pretty tasty food, but a rather unusual system. Instead of a buffet, the server had prison-style cardboard trays with little compartments for food. They served us with fried vegetable rice, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, curried chicken, chana, dal, a piece of naan and a spring roll. That's a *lot* of food for the money, probably twice what I could eat. It was all pretty good, except the tandoori chicken which was mostly bone. An enjoyable meal, though I would have preferred to have had a choice of food and a normal plate, and maybe some condiments for the naan. I'd certainly eat there again.
Quality of food is pretty poor. Also, price charged on lunch buffet is higher than what is listed on the website. I paid $15+, listed price is $10.99. Lastly, it is not all-you-can-eat. It's one serving of whatever you want.I won't be returning here.

Lovely options and great South Indian food. Good for sit down or carry out/ I’ve never been disappointed.
This is one of the only places you can get South Indian specialties (dosa, uttapam, madu vada) in the Twin Cities and Kadai does not disappoint!! I used to come here when I worked in the skyway and have ordered some dosa and the like during the pandemic— it always hits the spot. For any people new to South Indian food I encourage you to try something new (my husband loves their vada and I have a friend who LOVES their goat byriani). Please vote with your dollars and order from this great family owned spot!!
I’ve been waiting on a late delivery via Bite Squad. I called Kadai and it turns out the order was cancelled because my order wasn’t ready, and the driver couldn’t wait.

Absolutely worthless....canceled my Uber order after having the driver wait almost 40 minutes....get your stuff together before signing up with delivery services.
