First time at Joeys Meatballs. I tried the Truffle butter with sausage. It was good and my wife enjoyed the butter and pasta. However it’s a little expensive and the marina sauce for the garlic bread was liquidity. Would consider trying more in the future.
I have to say that I was a bit esitant, but Joey is a very good pasta place. They quickly prepare for you fresh pasta perfectly "al dente". Highly recommended.
I was here a little while ago, and have to say that this was my first time at this location, and partaking in their food. Didn't know what to expect. But, since they had a simple menu it only took like 1 minute to decide. I chose the gnocchi, because it not only looked good, but it was something I've never had before, or at least for a long time. Let me tell you after waiting like 5 to 7 minutes for my food it was so worth it, since it smelled so good. Not only were the portions good sized for what was a regular sized bowl. But, it tasted so good as well. I mean it didn't even cost $10, which is a good price for one person, especially when everything else could be expensive. I have to say that the item to me looked zesty, and something that would make a good lunch/dinner. I will be back, maybe to try a different menu item.
Review for their downtown location that is co-located with Ties Lounge (which doesn't have a separate listing). I placed a pickup order for a "Fat Tony" and "Italian Salad". To pickup, you have to enter Ties Lounge, whose security required a pat down to enter. Normally I would have given up, but I was desperate for dinner. It then took ~5 minutes to get someone's attention and receive my order. The "Fat Tony" (meat sauce on gnocchi) was okay (large portion, but the gnocchi was overcooked). The "Italian Salad" was packed without any dressing or capers (in description), so was really bland. The baby kale was past its prime. My experience may have been unlucky, but I'm unlikely to try again to find out.

what a disappointment. got great food there last summer when the Malcolm Yard’s marketplace opened up. i was so thrilled to get an amazing meatball with lovely marinara sauce to dive into. now nearly a year later we returned and here is what i got: a meatball half the size of theprevious one, dry as a bone, and the thimble’s worth of sauce could only be described as spaghettio-like. but lucky forme i spent extra money for the pasta this time and also got a congealed mess of overcooked noodles. the best part…it only cost nearly 20 dollars! such potential, down the tubes
Unfortunately they value DoorDash over in person customers. Did not take an order in person for over 30 minutes. Also did not acknowledge the customers. Watched customer after customer leave.
The meatballs were simply incredible. I might be Irish, but I know a thing or two about meatballs and these knocked my socks off. Couple the meatballs with handmade pasta and you can’t go wrong.
Best meatballs you ll find besides your Italian grandmother’s! Shape, consistency and, most importantly, taste are 5/5. In addition to the great food, the atmosphere, service, and experience at Joey Meatballs is something you don’t want to miss! Mangia!
While these aren't my Grandmother's meatballs, they're probably the next best thing! The Joey Meatball's team is pumping out authentic homemade pastas at a price that can't be beat. Start with the Baller, but everything on the menu hits just right!
