Let’s start with the steamed bun. I ordered the fried tofu variety. The fried tofu was topped with the saddest looking piece of lettuce. I’m not sure how something like that is allowed out of the kitchen and onto a dish. Taste-wise, it tasted like a McChicken sandwich. This is not an exaggeration. The mayonnaise tasted identical, and the texture was very similar. And now the ramen. I ordered the sar chiu ramen. The sar chiu was dry But had a decent taste. It came with three thin slices. There were bamboo shoots, black mushrooms, and egg. The egg was disappointing as it looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for too long. Everything tasted OK; definitely not good enough to justify the price. The broth was hearty but lacked anything that stood out. The noodles were decent but tasted a bit undercooked. Everything was just…ok. I think that is the best way to describe my experience.

Stop by for dinner, Chicken was old and clear it wasn't even white. Was this refried? more like reheated . The beef short ribs we're just as bad. Ask to get new ones or taken off the tab. Ribs were taken back, and told they are cooked like that. This isn't my first time here. They Kept the ribs, and didn't give us our money back, not did they return the money for the chicken. Both items were fried so excessively, some parts were hard as a rock. Clearly the chicken is old and possibly left over. It stretched like a rubber band, well, what we could get out of the patty. When asked to speak to management, she told us no.Monies were not returned. Ribs were not eaten, chicken was not eaten due to their over excessive doneness.

It was a cold night and Ichiddo Ramen was the perfect place to go. We started off with calamari and little fried chicken pieces. I forgot the name but they were delicious. Served with a wonderful spicy sauce. The calamari was so good. Fried perfectly and tender not chewy. The broth in the ramen was so creamy and flavorful. Ramen was cooked perfectly. I tried an authentic Japanese lychee soda and it was delicious. I am now a fan of this place and will be returning on many cold nights.

Love the ramen made with real soup instead of flavor package

First off, this is what green tea is supposed to taste like. They had a lot of great ramen options for a cold winter day. They were able prepare them with gluten free noodles in most cases to make the gluten friendly (not gluten-free). I think its interesting as a Japanese cuisine restaurant, they don't have tamari. Tamari in place of soy sauce would have made these gluten free. It was also interesting they didn't cut the egg in half. The service was super nice and attentive.I will return to this restaurant.

Titles says it all. When we’re craving ramen, this is the only place we’ll go. There are lots of good ramen restaurants in the Twin Cities, but Ichiddo is easily the best. Gotta try the classic Tonkotsu, and the pork buns are an absolute MUST! The pork is super tender and the bun is like biting into a cloud!! The staff is friendly and helpful in explaining anything on the menu. Service is always on point too!

Very good fresh food my first time being there was today it was delicious. The wine was well priced nice atmosphere. My waitress was a bit rude a couple that came in 5 mins after me got their order taken first I had to wave my waitress down for her to take our order other than that it was a nice visit.

All the ramens we had were good. Good portion sizes too

Don’t be fooled by the picture and the description. It said 4 pieces of short ribs. And this is what I got…. for $7.. Two of them were basically just bones.. and one was all fat… So there was almost one piece of meat left that was edible.

Pretty good kimchi ramen! Never disappoints
