Great spot for breakfast! Tons of vegan and gluten free options, and everything tasted great. There’s a great selection of brunch beverages as well. The atmosphere is fun and inviting.
All gluten and dairy free plus vegan. I liked the "chicken" waffles, but our biscuits with gravy were a little dry. Loved how serious they took Covid! Had to mask up and show proof of vaccination status in order to dine in.
I'm happy I tried this cafe! The ambiance is warm, and the staff was super friendly. The food was good. I had a bagel sandwich, a cookie, and a cup of tea, all of which came to $20 after tax. Nothing was bad, though nothing was super incredible either. This definitely isn't the kind of place where the portion allows you to make two meals out of one, but the food is worth the price because of the specialty ingredients. Also, they have liquor now, so I'd love to give it another try in the evening one weekend.Overall, worth checking out if you're downtown, want a light lunch, and eat vegan and gluten-free.
A very cute vegan and gluten cafe?! Easily 5 stars, great service and tasty food and drinks!
Been here twice so far, had excellent food and service on both occasions! New menu items seem to rotate around the classic offerings, so I imagine there will always be something new to try as the seasons change. You can tell that everything is so fresh and prepared with care, the natural flavor of the produce really shines through in the veg-focused dishes. They have a fun array of cocktails, a good selection of teas and coffee as well. This all goes without mentioning the baked goods. The first time I came in, everything looked so good in the case, I walked out with one of everything, and enjoyed each of them as much as the last! Definitely stop in, you won’t regret it.
I am OBSESSED with hark!! As a gluten free vegan person it can be tough finding good options at restaurants, but I don’t even have to think about it at Hark! I have ordered food to go many times (my go to is their bagel sandwiches) but this morning I dined in for brunch. Everything was delicious as usual, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming!
What a beautiful gem Minneapolis is lucky to have! The location downtown is easy to get to, we loved the vibe and mural, the staff is friendly and helpful. Best of all the food is so flavorful! Loved every bite. Totally worth a return visit...and many more! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
I was staying in downtown Minneapolis and ended up coming over to Hark for breakfast two days in a row. The egg & cheese bagel was fantastic - esp with added onions & peppers. I appreciate that the vegan cheddar cheese was nut-free (I believe the mozzarella is not). The latte was also very good.I couldn't resist trying many of their desserts - the cinnamon pop tart, chocolate chip & s'mores cookie, and oatmeal vanilla cream sandwich. The chocolate chip cookie was insane, definitely my favorite. The oatmeal vanilla cream was also very good, but heavy. Like many vegan desserts, everything was very sweet (the salt on the chocolate chip cookie cut the sugar nicely though).Overall though, very cute cafe! I ordered to-go both days, but lots of open tables that would be nice to work at.I did order online the first morning and they forgot to add the cinnamon pop tart, which I didn't realize until I was home! Not a big deal - happy to support local vegan spots, but just check your order on the way out.
Went to Hark! cafe recently with some girlfriends for brunch. It’s a plant based restaurant. I was there approx 11 AM. Great service! I got a dirty chai with the breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. It is order at the counter and they bring it out to you.The chai was yummy! And the service was quick! Only reason I’m giving a 4 is that the sandwich was not the best for being plant based, I’ve definitely had better. I’d describe the bagel as being dense but flavorful, tofu scramble seemed good and wasn’t fond of the “sausage” they’ve made- very bread-y.I loved the vibe there tho, so will be going back to try something else on the menu!!!Bathrooms outside in hall, street parking downtown.
Delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere! Also ordered the biscuits and gravy- only thing it was missing was an egg on top! The cold brew coffee with oat milk will keep me coming back, can’t wait to try something from the bakery case!!
