I always enjoy my time at Gyu-Kaku! I had lunch with my nephew there and it was his first time, so he was unsure what to expect. But after having a lychee fruit mojito, I think I helped alleviate some fears about what he should be expecting. We checked out the menu and immediately we saw this "meat mountain" and immediately knew that that's what we were going to have we didn't even have to check out any other portion of the menu. Along with having an opportunity to use some rewards points we also ordered some Toro beef which was awesome for him to taste for the first time as well. I always love getting the garlic rice bowls and then just being able to add my meat or vegetables with the rice. Ooh, and that chimichurri sauce.. I'm in loveAlthough I think this one time our server may not have been aware that we were assigned at one of his tables and we were waiting for him to come and take our order, I hope you guys continue to be a great place to come and enjoy.

We love Guy-Kaku but the one in Minneapolis was a little disappointing as it did not offer all you can eat like most other locations. The services was fantastic so was the food but different experience then what we are used to.
Very fun n, participatory dining! As a first timer, the menu seemed complicated, but the server was a great help. Initially, they tried to seat us at a 2-top wedged between the bathrooms & the bar’s dirty dish area (!), but graciously seated us elsewhere after I expressed my concerns.
This is a Japanese BBQ restaurant, where you grill your own meat at your table. It’s fun. Their meat and sauce are very tasty. Set menu is reasonable price.
