overpriced, poor service(long wait for basic things, always attitude from staff). better coffee at Bogart's half a block down, better food across the street at Our Kitchen for better price. it's weird how the owners/management see this place have completely empty tables across the street from lines of people waiting an hour for café food and not realizing what that says, that none of those people are willing to cross the street for what Gigi's offers.
Have you ever had a day where you are super stressed out, and then you go someplace where the service is so good that it completely turns your day and attitude around? I had that experience on Saturday when I wandered in to Gigi's. I was waiting for an oil change on my car (Amigo's is only a couple blocks away, also an awesome place) and stopped into Gigi's to have a coffee. The employee at Gigi's who helped me was super accommodating and helped me out immensely, all with a smile and pleasant attitude. Not to mention the delicious food and latte! I cannot thank her enough for taking my stressful errand morning and turning it into a happy experience!
Great food and friendly fast service. I had the corned beef hash. Tons of corned beef w/ pickled red cabbage, cauliflower, jalapenos and habanero peppers along with potatoes, 2 eggs and a piece of toast. Great combination.
I moved two blocks away from this cafe and found immediate community here. The food is phenomenal. Lots of vegan, veggie, and gluten-free options. The art that is displayed by the community art curator (Laura) is always inspiring. She features art by community members--including kids. Zack and Trey are my buds when I work from the cafe on Sunday nights. They make me feel like family. Plenty of space for big groups, families, or an afternoon chat with a friend.
Wonderful environment, delightful atmosphere, Delicious food and extremely friendly employees is what greeted me. Definitely will return.
Myself and a group of friends came from the east coast for the weekend, and quickly fell in love with this place. The staff is INCREDIBLY kind and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, well-fed, and like a regular on day 1. ❤️ The assortment of art is beautiful, and you can easily see the passion in the curator/manager's eyes when she talks about her work. The atmosphere is calm, friendly, inspiring, and respectful. If we lived around here, I would 100% come back on a regular basis. For now, this place left a wonderful memory in my heart, and I hope to come back again if we're ever in the area~Side notes: Gender-neutral restroom with a whole baby-changing table, walls filled to the brim with local artists' work, and vegan-friendly options, dog-friendly patio.Friends: "Hack Google and give them SIX STARS."
A few friends and I were visiting from Boston to surprise a friend for his birthday, and we wanted try some local places for food. We had plans to go to different breakfast places, but after day 1, we just went to Gigi's every day instead. The food is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and despite there being six to eight of us everyday, they sat and served us incredibly quickly.Trey and Laura, who both served us, are very friendly and personable, and though I didn't catch anyone else's names, they all gave a vibe to the Cafe that I wish I could find back home.If I lived out here I'd find it impossible to not pop in once a week. Hopefully we'll be back soon!
Had some great food here, at outside on one of our nice days.
Frequented for many years. Amazing and friendly staff. SHOUT-OUT ZACH. Go get yourself a French Toast Latte from LAURA too. She hooks it up.
I love Gigi's Cafe ! I always feel warmly welcomed and they have the best atmosphere, beverages and food. Turbo, the barista goes out of his way to make my day feel special which feels good! The entire staff really is friendly and the art is always inspiring!!!!
