First time here and am impressed. 2 slices and a drink for $10 isnt free but in market. Has a Sicilian Tono (corner of course) and a pep sausage slice. Tono was a masterpiece of spice and sweet with a perfect crust. Standard slice was solid too. Nice pull to the crust with a light crew. Standard slice is a little light on the cheese and sauce. Cheese I prefer for this type of slice but sauce was very light which I do not prefer. Will be back for a cheesesteak next!
Was greeted when I came in, the woman behind the counter answered a bunch of my questions about what all the pizzas were. I got the 2 pieces + free drink, after taxes, $10.00. The two pieces I picked was buffalo chicken, and another with pepperoni, sausage, spinach, onions, and tomatoes. They are HUGE! For scale, my hands are usually a whole ligament longer than other people's.They were absolutely great, going to try and come again before going home
I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened, unfortunately the last two times i ordered the sandwich looks nothing like it has in the past. The meat portion has dramatically diminished in size. It had good flavor but when you pay that much for a cheese steak you might want to actually have steak in every bite. I basically paid for some bread
I used to order pizza from here often; I called today wanting to order for the first time since my celiac diagnosis, and asked what their allergen procedures were like. The manager didn’t seem knowledgable at all; all they said was gluten free pizzas are “prepared separately” but didn’t confirm whether all precautions were taken like washing hands, changing gloves, wiping down workstations, and checking ingredients, etc. They were very abrupt and didn’t seem to realize the knowledge needed to make a safe food for people with allergies to eat. I got hung up on because I paused after the manager was done saying “They’re prepared separately.”, because I was expecting more information than that. I had specifically asked about hand washing and things mentioned above, but one sentence was the only response I got. I had started asking another question but the manager ended the call before I could get more than 2 words out. Extremely disappointing. I love so many of the flavors here and I miss exciting, good tasting, well made pizza that’s actually worth the money. Unfortunately this interaction puts this spot on my never list.
I ordered a Cheesesteak Hoagie from this place and it was absolutely horrible. They got my entire order wrong. They also had French fries in the Cheese Steak hoagie as pictured. I asked for a Cheesesteak Hoagie with mayo and mozzarella cheese. Call the place back and they didn’t answer. I called Doordash for a full refund. They also got my son’s order wrong too. They sent no napkins or forks. PEOPLE NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. Btw: I lived in Philly so I know what a Cheesesteak Hoagie looks like. Terrible
If you want a sandwich worth your money and time I'd recommend going here! They have a variety of sandwiches and pizzas, there will always be something for everyone. Their service was great and friendly. I'm definitely going again!
5 stars for taste...the pizza is smooth, soft, and delicious. The Philly cheese steak was pretty good. It's at the University of Minnesota campus...so has a fun college atmosphere. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking can be tricky and limited so pay attention to that...you may have to drive around for a bit and it's nearly all pay to park, whether it's ramp or street. This facility does not have a parking lot.
Very good! We got the cheese steak and sunny side of Philadelphia, delivered. I've overlooked this place MANY times over the years because the pictures dont look appealing at all. We finally decided to try it, because not much else was open. I'm glad our first choices were closed, because it was really good!! The buns are soft and the meat is flavorful. I will definitely order again! The only thing I'd change is their photographer.
After hearing so many great things about this place I was excited to try it. Quite disappointing to open the box to find your sandwich like this and not even made correctly. Receipt says cheese whiz......receipt was in the to go box......still no cheese whiz on the sandwich. After assembling my sandwich and finally getting to eat, I have to say the sandwich was just ok and I was left wondering what was everyone else raving about? The meat was dry, tough and grisley. I wasnt going to post anything despite how disappointed I was, that was until I pulled a long blonde hair out of my sandwich. Mind you, the end of the sandwich that managed to get meat on. I have shorter, dark brown hair, it was NOT my hair. I work in Minneapolis but live in St. Paul and now I know next time I want a good Philly to wait til I get back to my side of town and go to Tono's instead.
WORST FOOD EVER!!! The pizza had 0 flavor, very thin. Barley any marinara on it. We ordered the breadsticks and they as well had 0 flavor to them, felt like we were eating cardboard. Plus they forgot the marinara sauce for the breadsticks, so we had to eat them plain. The “seasoned” fries we ordered had absolutely no seasoning. They were PLAIN, NO FLAVOR!!! We asked them for a side of ketchup and I have no clue what it was, but it was NOT ketchup. It looked and tasted like cocktail sauce, watered down with water!
