A great place to see a concert! Great acoustics. It is mostly standing room but there are some stools and tables on the upper floor if you need the space.
Went to see Prince mural and get a ticket at the Depot. First Avenue is best place yo see a concert. Love First Ave. 7th Street Entry too. Cannot beat them. We are so fortunate to have them in Twin Cities. Appreciate. Best in the WORLD.
Cleaner than most venues I've been to. Staff trekked through the crowd to provide drink orders to those in the standing area in front of the stage. Great vibe. Saw Sofi Tukker perform here and it was incredible
The iconic venue that has drawn so many amazing music artists - first and foremost, PRINCE! ? Concert footage in Purple Rain were shot here. The same location where Prince played before the days of Purple Rain. They give tours - check the website. 2 stories of fun and excitement. Good drinks, huge dancefloor and good location. 7th Street Entry is very small in contrast and provides a stage for less established musicians/groups. Highly recommended if you're in MPLS! ????????? 0(+>
My new all time favorite venue. Went there for the first time on Tuesday to see Apocalyptica and Lacuna Coil and it was f**king perfection. I love the atmosphere and setup!
Honestly every time I go here, the venue is always decently organized and fairly clean. The shows are smaller and therefore much more intimate, even on nights where it's sold out and you're packed in like sardines. It's easy to find and there's a decent amount of both street and lot parking on the surrounding blocks.
I'm new to the area, but I've been to this iconic club a couple of times now. It's the kind of venue where you still really feel the energy of the crowd. Where you can feel like you're really there inside the music with the band. The people running sound obviously know what they're doing. Had a great experience both upstairs and down on the floor. The layout is great and there are multiple bars to make it convenient to grab a drink without fighting for service.
Cool place, not a bad "seat" in the house. They send a server around the crowd to take drink orders, which was awesome.Bathrooms were upstairs which is inconvenient. Also, it wasn't clear how many lines there were to get in.
Lots of folks wearing masks and feel safer knowing vaccine cards are checked too. Wish there was a slightly lower capacity but overall fantastic scene to watch shows ❤ really nice to get out more with friends and good music!
Had a blast! Great Venue*** Small intimate place to watch a great band! Drinks are not cheap, but they are a good pour for that price! This was my 1st concert here, but I am already looking for another band to go see!!!
