I didn't enjoy the food, there were too many flies in the restaurant, and the service was sub par at best. They were out of corned beef hash and the potatoes lacked seasoning. I wasn't a fan of the hollandaise either. The bacon, sausage links, and pancakes were good.
The food was absolutely delicious. Things were a little slow but worth the wait. The staff was very kind but after we received our food we were never checked in again. Likely a one off situation and worth checking it out.
Decided to take myself out to breakfast this morning, and Eggy's was where I ended up!!! I know this place can be pretty busy sometimes, but I was hoping since it was Tuesday morning they could get me in right away - they did! Service was excellent. Food was GREAT! Coffee was great (somehow a lot of places manage to mess up black coffee???). Really good prices, and I took half of my order home for a 2nd meal! This is definitely a place I want to come more often.
Wonderful breakfast- great service I had the pancake instead of bread - great change. Big takeout business.
Delicious Crapes! I got the Florentine crapes and my friend got the Nutella crapes. Both were stellar. The hot coffee was really tasty too. It was nice to have a pitcher at the table for refills.We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we walked in which was nice because they were very busy. Our waiter was very friendly. The food took a while though, probably over 30 mins for a table of 6. Parking is always tough around this area which will deter me from coming here often.
Love this place!!! Amy was a fantastic server and a great help during our brunch. Just a wonderful human! The cinnamon/sugar rolled pancakes were amazing! Try them and you will agree. Such a unique way to present a breakfast staple. I also enjoyed the freshly squeezed OJ and the side of breakfast potatoes. They were so crispy (the way they should be)! ?Everyone at the table really enjoyed their dishes!
Did not live up to reputation. Would’ve been better off with ihop. Drinks ridiculously overpriced with small portions. $9.95 for a small smoothie! And cappuccino was smaller than a sippycup. Potatoes completely undercooked and no seasoning. Employee was rude and gave attitude. I regret eating here.
i went to Eggy’s Diner during the NCAA women’s final 4 weekend for the 1st time. I ordered a side of grits with cheese and they were COLD legit felt like they came out of the fridge. I also ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken was COLD as if it was pre made just waiting for pick up … i didn’t even touch the waffle i just threw the entire meal away. worst food experience i’ve ever had & the waitress didn’t even offer to take the foodoff of the bill seeing that i didn’t eat any of it.
The food here was delicious… the portions were huge and not expensive. Definitely coming here when I’m in Minnesota again! ??
We always have breakfast there before heading back home to NE. it's ALWAYS great service delicious food and great prices... Eggy's is our go to when in MSP visiting family! ❤️
