We love Don Ho. We order there most weekends and the woman (guessing owner?) is super friendly. I usually order the Moo Goo Gai pan, lo mein, or beef and broccoli. It is all very good. Also have gotten chow mein, egg rolls and hot drop soup. I would recommend.
My brother and I have been eating the fried pork lo mein here for basically all of our life after the day our dad brought some home. It's one of my favorite take out dishes. As long as the consistency remains I'll be ordering lol mein from Don ho's on my deathbed and before that ordering it for my kids and their grandkids.
Some restaurants have skimmed portion size as a reflection of covid and everything else that's going on right now; however, this is not one of them! Monster size portions! Great classic Chinese food!!
I would give Don Ho's 5 stars in a heartbeat if she simply upgraded her takeout trays, they always melt.I've ordered a handful of different lunch specials from Don Ho's, the food is great, but every single time, I notice large amounts of MELTED styrofoam on the bottom of the takeout tray.Today, a huge hole was melted through the bottom of my tray, and I lost the lunch.Either the food going in is too hot for the thin, flimsy, trays to handle, or she microwaves the trays before she gives them to you, and the contents become so hot they melt through.Either way, how much styrofoam are we eating?Who knows!
Pretty good! Got several options, many were really good, the beef lo mein was awesome, egg rolls and pot stickers were decent. Sesame chicken was ok, but not great. Would definitely eat here again
Ordered the General Tso chicken for lunch. The breading on the chicken was so thick (1/4”)and mushy; it was terrible. I had to take the breading off. The sauce didn’t taste like any General Tso’s sauce I’ve tasted. It was mostly sweet and sour sauce. Fried rice was good. Cheese puffs were so big and hard to eat. Not ordering that again.
Greasy, but okay. Cashier can come off rude. Place could use some cleaning.
My new go to Asian food! The Lo Mein and house fried rice is excellent. You can tell it’s homemade and they do not short you on portions! I don’t think I will be trying any other Chinese in town.
Excellent food and service. The Hong Kong style rice noodles and Hunan Shrimp were terrific. The spicy chicken wings were good as well and were piled on a bed of onion, peppers and hot peppers. We'll definitely be back!
Singapore chow fun were spot on to what I ate in Beijing at a street market. Very good. I will definitely get them again, maybe a little more spicy next time.
