Excellent venue with amazing acoustics. Originally seated at a table for dinner and then moved to an open booth. Service staff attentive to detail and food was very tasty especially the angus burgers and rabbit pasta. We arrived at 530 and delayed our eating which made it difficult to see what we were eating as it is quite dark. Thoroughly enjoyed the night with Alan Doyle.
Nice jazz venue in Minneapolis. We ate before the show. I had blackened trout with lima bean succotash with a glass of Pinot noir. We split a slice of Mississippi mud pie. Others had chicken sandwich with fries, key lime dessert. All were very good. The trout was seasoned just right. The music was John Pizzarelli trio. That was excellent! It was sold out. I recommend. It was a wonderful evening.
Purchased seats on the railing, regular table, wore a wrap dress...got placed at a high top instead... uncomfortable for a lady in a high slit skirt to have legs hanging..shifting trying to achieve modesty.The show was wonderful.
Mindi Abair put on another great show. The Dakota is an intimate venue that is an awesome place to see jazz bands live.We both had the mud pie which is a chocolate delight.

We had a wonderful time with The guys of The New Standards. I was left wanting for one last song. I have been a fan for a long time. Litter older, still making it happen The Dakota always delivers, a great venue, and more importantly great people.
