40% açaí 60% plastic in a verrry small container. Not impressed with the portion size at ALL for $12 ? Not sure if the girl on the line was running low or what’s up but doesn’t seem to match the way they portion other items. Seems like other reviewers have experienced similar ingredient skimping. Majorly dissatisfied & still hungry enough to need more food (from somewhere else!) Take your business to the local co-ops.
Great tasting food. Go to this location all the time but recently the last few times it seems like the amount of food you get is a lot smaller. At $15 a salad you think you would get a little more. This last time mine was only half full.
This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks that I've visited this establishment for lunch while the same young lady was working the counter. She was back there by herself, I was the only person in line and she flew through preparing my salad so quickly that I couldn't even see what she was putting in it. Both times she has forgotten ingredients that go in one of their main salads and the ingredients that were added were either very little or WAY too much. She seems nice and I like this restaurant, however I'm rethinking coming back if this is how the food is going to continue to be made.
I understand why the price is a little expensive because ingredients are usually really good. Today I went in there was no line, and the person helping me rushed through making my salads, where food was flying everywhere, making it onto the floor instead of my bowl. I barely got any chicken in either, I barely got any dressing, and the girl walked away before I could ask to correct the order. The salads are lacking just overall disappointed in 27$ for two salads and barely any food.
I got The Bold & The Buffalo, and it was delicious! Really fresh ingredients and great flavor in the sauces. However, I felt that the service was lacking a bit. One of the employees didn't seem very interested in checking me out, and she charged me for a smoothie that I didn't ask for. I didn't realize this until she brought it to me, and when I explained that I hadn't ordered it, she said that I had paid for it and asked if I wanted it anyway. As it turns out, it was an $8 smoothie that I didn't even realize I had been charged for! I took a couple sips, then ended up throwing it away because I didn't like it. Kind of disappointing!UPDATE: I’m really impressed by C&G’s customer service! I emailed them and received quick, helpful, friendly responses, and they offered to refund my money back to my card or through a gift card. Definitely happy with the experience!
I have had a great experience at the Lake St C&G location every time. I frequently pickup salads from the other locations but this one is by far the best managed and they just get it right every time.
We love Crisp & Green salads and we haven’t had a bad experience at any location. We were especially impressed and thankful for the staff at the Uptown Lakes location after getting salads here on Christmas Eve. Many of the local restaurants were either closed for the day or posting wait times of over two hours for lunch takeout. While they were doing steady business with several other orders on the shelf when I arrived, our order was completed accurately and in a reasonable time frame. Thank you!
Crisp & Green is the best! It's dangerous living so close to this location ? Never had a bad salad or bowl, quality is always fresh and consistent and the team members are so friendly. Love having somewhere healthy close by! Rewards program is great too. Highly recommend!!
On at least 3 separate occasions this place has forgotten my salad dressing when I've ordered pickup, protein or another ingredient in the salad. I decided to give it one more chance, and again, they provided no dressing. I also found leaves that are clearly not lettuce and appear to be from a tree in my salad. Somehow they did manage to give an extra piece of bread - not very useful when you have no dressing for your lunch on the go during the work day. Double-check your order if you grab takeout from here before you leave
Staff never seems to know what's supposed to be in each salad. Flavored waters are empty often
