These baristas do NOT play. Other coffee shops wish they brought the same level of well-valued, STRONG coffee. After discovering this place, I don’t think I’m going to bother going anywhere else. I highly recommend. Their baked goods are good too, so is the overall environment of the place. Incredible, hidden gem coffee shop.
I feel you can tell a lot from a coffee shop my how well they do a latte. Code Blu makes probably the best latte I’ve ever had. It has become my go to everytime I come here.
Can’t beat their cold brew + creamy oat milk. It’s the BEST motivator for getting myself over to the laundromat across the street! Dan and the crew are really nice too.

The espresso I got recently was mediocre (bitter, flavorless, channelled), though there have been some times in the past when it was better. It has a nice ambience and is a decent place to study though.
Action figure decor and a tight counter area belie the quirky warmth and excellent barista-ing going on behind the counter. A mix of random traffic and loyal regulars. I hope this neighborhood gem gains a wider following.

Favorite coffee shop for years by far. Any drink is always delicious, and can't beat the quality of fresh roasted beans at that price!! Used to live nearby but still happy to drive across town for Code Blu.
Absolutely the most delicious coffee in all of Minneapolis!! My favorite is their caramel macchiato, iced or hot, it's satisfying and robust ? COFFEE BEANS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!!!
Great unassuming coffee shop that’s got anything u want. Good chance you’ll run into someone you know. If you want to pretend you don’t notice them, which is very difficult considering the size of the place, you can do some magnet poetry on the wall by the drink counter.
