Fabulous tacos, outdoor seating, nice service staff. Must try the octopus tacos and margaritas are pretty dang good! What I didn’t like, is the impersonal ordering from your phone. Other than that it was wonderful!
Lively atmosphere and a surprisingly impressive self-service dining experience. They accommodated my son’s peanut allergy which is a huge plus. Ordering from the QR code is super easy and there’s still plenty of staff around if you need anything. Food came out fast even though they were slammed on a Friday evening. Tucked in the far corner of the restaurant is a gift shop with some truly unique treasures. I even ran into some special treats for pups!
Except for the chips and Gauc, we didn’t like the taste of any of the tacos! We ordered the fish, chicken and cactus tacos. The cactus tacos were absolutely mush on mush! Zero texture to offset the mush of the cactus! I never say anything bad about food but this one made me puke! The vibe was good and a lot of crowd encouraged us going in. But chips and Gauc is the only thing we will stick to the next time. Does have a cute little shop too inside.
First place, this place is credit card only, and you order on your cell phone from your table. Normally, I would just walk by and let the hipsters have this one. That being said, the staff was friendly, the food was great, and when I wanted to get a coffee at the venue next door, they let me bring it over since some items from their coffee shop are not on their restaurant menu. The ceviche was a perfect balance of fish, citrus, and spices. The guacamole was pretty standard with no risk taking there. The nopales, however, were exceptional.
Exceptional fancy tacos. Super speedy so don't order tacos until ready to eat. Cocktails are well made, including the pitchers of margaritas. Seating can be hard to find and there is no wait-list so if you go prime dinner time be prepared to move quickly to get the next available table. Ordering is done online via QR code which is fairly handy. Water is serve yourself at the end of the bar. It can be quite loud but it is a very fun atmosphere.
Visited on a weeknight around dinner time. Finding a parking space and a table will probably take a good 15 minutes before actually ordering. Our little one was with us and we sat in the connecting hallway between the two restaurants at the window (H4&H5). High chairs are available, but not high enough for the bar height tables. Ordering our meals and drinks were a breeze via QR code menu. Dishes were brought out individually as they were freshly made. Everything we had order was delicious. My partner and I enjoyed the tacos and East Oysters. The ceviche salsa appetizer is unique and enjoyable. The Yuca fries and chips were a hit with our picky eater. I wouldn't recommend bringing a stroller unless you're on the patio.
Awesome bar and authentic food. Rivals some of the best Mexican restaurants along Central avenue. Service is exceptionally friendly and everything comes out surprisingly fast. The music and vibe are spot on.Only issue is the 10% wellness charge which caught me by surprise. I prefer restaurants to simply adjust their pricing accordingly and not nickel and dime on an itemized bill. This wasn't very transparent in the checkout process.
Great atmosphere and fabulous drinks! I usually get oysters here but their tacos and other Mexican food is fantastic! This place is also by Indeed Brewing which has a large and awesome beer list. Really nice to come here in the summer and walk around the area. Definitely one of my top ten places to go when it's warm outside!
Hands down my favorite tacos in Minneapolis! What’s not to like about this spot!! Flavorful meat, salsa, to inventive cocktails. Tonight’s choice was chicken enchiladas!
Great patio and great casual vibe. Love that you can seat yourself and order online. Food & cocktails were so tasty.
