Classic dive bar of Minneapolis. Awesome place to get cheap drinks. Everyone there is always rad. Great patio if you can tolerate smoke and noise.
The long standing Minneapils dive bar with memories of dollar beers long ago. Not much has changed, the smell of smoke still lingers, along with the sounds of pool in the back ground. One visiting should make this a stop for a quick beverage and maybe a hot dog if you dare stomach the challenge. Enjoy!
I used to adore this place, thirty years ago. Great Punk atmosphere, great Punk jukebox. Now it's infested with the latest roach variant, Hipsterus Stupidicus. The music selection is sad and terrible. The staff is still unfriendly, but not in a personable away. It also smelled a lot better before the smoking ban. It pretty much looks the same as it did back then but, sadly, it just isn't as fun.
Staple dive bar of the neighborhood. This place has been around for decades and has always been a great little dive bar. They have a couple of pool tables and a great outdoor patio in the back.
Total dive bar, might be more fun at night.But we went for breakfast, they only a few options, a few egg meals, waffles or pancakes. The food was decent but they definitely need to make sure they clean the silverware better. I had to request new forks and the bartender tried to tell me it's just 'water spots'... No sir, it was not just water spots ?
Did not quite meet expectations. Sat down at a table and was only told there were no servers after 5 minutes of waiting at a table. Was looking at the taps from the table when the bartender started waving as if I didn’t see him and demanded to see my ID. Service was prompt, drinks were good, but the bartender was lackluster. Will not visit again.
Idk what I was expecting from this place, but I must say, I was pleasantly surprised!The food was above average for a bar setting. Atmosphere was very much bar (duh ?). And it’s quite a cozy place! Lots of different kinds of people, if you like to people watch ?. Pool tables in the back left corner. There’s a year round area in the backyard. Menu was decent. Definitely a jumping place any day of the week! Best part is that food doesn’t stop until 12:30-1:30 (they said it depends.. idk ??♀️)
This place is in Minneapolis staple and I've been multiple times over the years. it's the kind of place you go to for a dive bar atmosphere and billiards. the service was excellent. only giving four stars because the food prices are expensive for your typical bar food.
Rad bar in which to drink booze but hey, remember Ralph's? That place was THEE BEST & Bob was friends w/Roger Maris and super cool bubba put on punk shows and everyone loved everyone except the 99% of the people we freaking absolutely despised. CC club has a similar vibe, doppelgangers of every single Ralph's person and yesterday they had me. Had me real good and I took all Raul & Keith's money in poker. Yep. All. Of. It. I literally laughed all the way home oh wait I meant to say 8 didn't laugh at all but that freaking absolut citron drinks... Yeah. Drink those. And a parting message for Mr. Sabathia, dude you got a great arm but come on cc leave the boozing to us OR change the name to Jeters!! Ha. I'll be hated for that so I shall premptivelyhate all of you. Haha. Dweebs .
Wanted to come here cause The Replacements hung out here! Very cool divey spot. A part of music history! Everyone was nice enough and the beer is relatively cheap!
