"Donut worry, be happy" with the best Cardigan Donuts at Downtown, Mpls. I still haven't decided which one is my favorite they are sweetly balanced and very delicious. Very friendly atmosphere.

Jake was unbelievably kind and helpful. He is engaging and very knowledgeable of the menu and baking process. Any business would be lucky to have him as an employee. The maple bars are the best I’ve ever had and the glazed donuts are excellent as well.
Excellent assortment for my birthday! (Thanks mom) even a long john with the text "happy birthday"the fresh, airy, filling, and flavor was all perfect i going to have to make my own stop out there soon. My personal favorite has to be the jelly filled iced roll!
Nice shop with some good donuts. There is something missing, perhaps that extra touch to excellence. Coffee was good but not great. Nice staff with good attitude.
Some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. I was staying nearby. First day they had 2 different types of vanilla frosted donuts. I was going to get the denser ones until I saw the big fluffy ones and I asked what they were and the server said those are our fluffier ones. Wow so good. Great choice. Wish I bought 2.Went back the next day and they only had the dense ones. I asked about the fluffier ones and she said these were the fluffiest ones they had. Well they weren’t… but she was super nice so I wasn’t going to argue with her. So I just got glazed. They weren’t bad but not the same.I also wish you didn’t have to walk through a maze of an indoor mall to find this place. Be better if they were located out on a street storefront.
Great prices and the best donuts in the area. The old fashion donuts are definitely my favorite. Their creations are unique and the staff is super friendly. Get the donut holes as they will melt in your mouth.
Truly wonderful donuts, and oatmeal bowls. We come here every time we visit Minneapolis, and will continue to do so as long as we are able. I love the Birthday donut with it's chocolate filling and chocolate frosting - sweet, but not too sweet. Oh how I wish they were closer! (I'm from Madison WI)
Truly the best donuts I have ever eaten. I can’t eat any other old fashioned donuts because I just compare them to Cardigan Donuts old fashioned ? I’m moving to another country soon and wish I could take the whole store with me. Visit here if you love great quality donuts!!
Update: I am very pleased with how Cardigan handled my previous experience. I was offered a free dozen donuts for delivery and when I reached out to take them up on this offer, they were prompt in their response and delivery. I have loved Cardigan for a long time so really happy to see how seriously they take making their customers happy and leaving with a good experience. I will be changing my star rating to 5 stars now!. Thanks again for the donuts, Justin!!I received some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced today. I’m disappointed because I’ve been a long time customer. I called an order in, was placed on hold for 20 minutes (I checked), hung up, called back, explained I was on hold and the woman I spoke with was condescending and rude. No apology, no understanding. She explained to me they were having “computer issues”. She then offered me a “discount”, which was the exact same total I was given the first time I called. Not much of a discount…. Overall, not a good experience and I’m not sure I will ever go back.
