They have amazing presentation, especially when it comes to food with sauces or spices on the side, like the two entrée dishes only available during dinner, roasted lamb and half rotisserie chicken. My favorite was the tuna tabbouleh without a doubt. The chicken was undercooked, but the sauces and spices definitely managed to enhance the flavor. The roasted lamb was a bit dry, but once again the sauces and spices came through. The saffron crème brûlée was pretty good, with just enough sugar to cover the egg flavor while maintaining the saffron taste. Everything else was pretty good as well, with both strengths and weaknesses to each dish. The atmosphere, both indoor and outdoor, had enhanced the whole experience (I have been there twice already), especiay with it right next to the Walker, it was for sure a monumental business to not just pass by without trying anything. Taking a walk in the Sculpture Garden after having lunch or dinner there would be a perfect activity, by the way.

RUN don’t walk and order a gin Gazos! I’ve told just about everyone about this drink and how refreshing it was! It’s $15 so sadly I only had one, #yagirlsnotrich but dream about it daily. I ordered the fries chicken pita— flavors were a total hit, just a little tricky to eat. Finished with the baklava tart(no longer offered)— it had a rich but light flavored custard and crumbly baklava; so good!

Cozy location, amazing food great drinks and great staff! We truly enjoyed our time with the bartenders and staff. The food was definitely something we couldnt make ourselves (which is our go to for selecting food!)

This was a good restaurant. Good ingredients. Good flavors. Prices are ok for their environment. A very convenient option before catching a show. I would potentially go again, depending on what the group decided, but would not dying to go. The menu was limited. But overall an ok place.

Love the vibe and the menu is so yummy! I wanted to try more—ended up ordering a new item (11/28/21), the fried chicken pita, side of fried potatoes and the roasted cauliflower with burrata—all delicious! Also got to sample my friend’s Turkish eggs (so good!) ❤️Great spot to check out!

Best food I've had in MSP, hands down. Coming from Portland I didn't realize how spoiled I am until I visited Minneapolis-St. Paul this week and see now how challenging it is to find quality meals here. But Cardamom delivered! Excellent service as well.

We are in the midst of wedding planning and decided Cardamom will be the venue. The food was flavorful, prepared perfectly, and memorable. The venue was clean and spacious with greenery, a beautiful bar, and windows overlooking the sculpture garden. Our server, Erik (sp?), was professional, personable, and made the whole experience a joy. 10/10. We are already planning our next visit with family in two weeks.

Excellent food. It’s attached to the walker arts center so it’s a perfect addition to a night or day at the museum. Everything we had here was extremely high quality! Really would love to go back one day.

It's always an adventure in taste when Daniel Del Prado opens another restaurant in the cities. The nice thing about his cooking is that no two restaurants serve the same things. If I had to rate this against his other restaurants I'd put it in the top 3, simply because it's so much different than his normal. There aren't pastas or even large plates on this menu, just Mediterranean inspired flavors that seem familiar, yet very unique and new. The only thing I'd like to see overtime would be a difference between lunch and dinner. Maybe a few larger dinner items to take the place of things like pancakes or egg dishes as the night progresses. Otherwise I can't tell you how much Cardamom was a breath of fresh air after sampling Josefina. Thanks for bringing more Mediterranean cuisine to the area.

Nice little restaurant at the Walker Art Center. The Baba ghanoush, advertised with pickled eggplant (and no mention of olives) came with maybe 1 oz of pickled eggplant, and 4 oz of olives. This would have been fine, but I don't like olives, and the menu item did not mention them. When mentioned, The waitress did offer some extra pita, so it's all good. The scallops were amazing. The host was great. Waitress was also nice, but I spent more time with the online ordering system. A few glasses off wine, an appetizer, and an entree was about $100. Worth it. Recommended.
