A comfy, unique, but bustling cafe/bar & eatery nestled in a quaint neighborhood with substantial indoor and outdoor seating.Their alcoholic choices seemed popular with others, but I had an iced latte which was delicious. As was my entree, which was pulled chicken & some delicious sides prepared in a Latin American food-truck style. The price to portion could’ve been better, but the food tasted fresh and pretty filling!Plus, the service from the two workers there on the evening of 08/04 were really awesome.Overall a great experience, I recommend stopping here for brunch, lunch, or dinner!
The pulled pork is great; if you like hot sauce in any way make sure to ask for some with your meal. If you're a sauce fan, order extra of the aioli with the fried yucca.
Cafe Racer is a favorite of ours. The food is amazing and the prices are good. The staff is kind and low-key. Their patio is somewhat unique; they have a really lovely landscaped surround with tables under tall shade trees. It's like a slightly secret garden, where you're just hidden from the street. Can't recommend enough.
Go to Cafe Racer for brunch - trust me, just do it! Nestled in a quaint neighborhood, Cafe Racer serves up tasty meals that always leave me satisfied. I love their benedicts, and the veggie hash is always well-seasoned. Sitting on the rustic patio for brunch with friends sparks true joy. I love this place!
Stopped in for lunch with my parents in the winter. At the time, they were allowing dine in so long as you had proof of vaccination (a picture on your phone was good enough). The lunch menu was a bit limited but we pretty much got a little of everything, and everything we had was good. The tostones were crunchy and savory, the plantains were sweet. We got both the pulled chicken and the pulled pork, both were juicy and rich, brightened by fresh cilantro, diced onion, and queso. The staff was friendly, and the entire vibe was a bit hipster. But totally clean and socially distant. Their logo is pretty cool too.
This place is an absolute gem! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my personal favorites are the braised pulled pork, arepa criolla, yuca frita, and sweet plantains. The cilantro aioli sauce is extremely addictive so it's not a bad idea to add a half pint of it if you are getting a large order.
Have eaten here several times including the last two nights. I swear this gets better every time. Just finished the pork with plantains and yuca and could eat two full servings, sad it’s gone. Every bite so flavorful and amazing. They seemed short staffed tonight, two people making to go orders and serving several people inside. The staff were calm and cool, very helpful. I just moved two blocks away and will be here often, but it’s certainly worth a drive. My wife loves the chicken, arepa, and the Colombian dogs are also great.
Beautiful neighborhood café. Has an authentic Colombian bodega café feel
Outstanding food quality! I have ordered pulled chicken with black and rice . It is so delicious food! I recommend this place is best for appetizer! Proud of Latin restaurant and I am always thinking of this food so much!
