The actual pizzas and empanadas at Boludos on S 4th St. In Minneapolis, MN don't have anything to do with the REAL pizzas and empanadas from Argentina. I have been traveling all over the World and I lived for many years in Buenos Aires (the Capital City of Argentina) and love great international cooking and food, except for the unbearable hot spices that Argentinians DON’T EAT AT ALL but, they do have now in the fillings of the last empanadas we ordered. The Beef Empanada SHOULD NOT BE TOO TOO SPICY ? !!! The Puerro had a strong cheap hot ? taste in the Gorgonzola Cheese. The Ham and Cheese were very mushy. It was like a mixed cream with a little ham and a little cheese that were not visible. There is a big difference comparing when we went for the first time to the old Restaurant Martina, (owned by the same Argentinian owner), where the food was pretty good, tasty and closer to the real food in Argentina. Now, the empanadas and pizzas are so soggy and the ingredients seemed to be cheap and extremely spicy ?!!! NOT LONGER RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. WE WILL NEVER EVER TRY AGAIN.

I have been part of my job part of world travelling and my passion for food and being a humble amateur Chef fortuned to enjoy many different restaurants during my trips. Besides that, I lived in Argentina for many years and have many friends there. I tried the empanadas before here and they were acceptable. Sadly, to say at this time that were not even close to empanadas Argentinas. The place on 4th is nice but the noise inside is so annoying and unbearable that there was no possibility to have a nice conversation. The beef empanadas not even close to the real ones. There were more like a mushy beef. The leek empanada was even worse tasted bad and it was like a paste. Pizzas were soggy. Besides and most important Argentinian food is not spicy hot. At all.

We had the Fugezetta and Arugula pizza with 6 different empanadas at the downtown location. The pizzas were so good! The crust is crispy and made to perfection! I wished we lived closer and could eat here weekly! We loved everything! Don't be afraid to try them out! You won't be disappointed.

Wow! Just finished the PORTEÑO and pepperoni pizzas along with the corn, beef, and ham empanadas. ? for all of it. Easily the best Argentinian empanadas is the TC. The pizza is not your traditional Italian pizza. It is a sweet heat with a delicious blend of cheese and spice. I can’t wait to go back! We were at the Nicollet Ave location. It is mostly a take out place with only a counter containing 8-10 seats. I hope they can expand and maintain the quality of food.

Very quickly becoming my favorite place in the cities for a quick bite. Absolutely amazing food. Pizzas, empanadas and more. Staff is helpful and attentive even on busy evenings and atmosphere is beautiful. 10/10 would recommend.

Great pizza, great empanadas! Staff was cool and labeled all of my 14 person order like pros! We will be back!

We can’t get enough of this place! Employees who are friendly that are genuinely good at their jobs. A++ The food being so good is the cherry on top to an excellent experience through and through! Can’t wait for Friday every week because it means Pizza night at our house, from Boludo’s!! Thank you all so much!

Amazing pizza! Churro donuts are fantastic!

Best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is phenomenal! The margaritas pizza is very well balanced with the perfect flavors. The empanadas are a must have, highly recommend the corn one. The restaurant has a fun sultry vide. Will be returning!

I'm sure the food is good... But I might never know? I ordered online 30 minutes ago and have yet to receive a confirmation email/text (like the site promised). I tried calling but it goes straight to voicemail (which isn't set up). I'm not sure how I'm going to get my money back... My bank is showing it went through...
