I think they do a great job of booking awesome performers here. When I see a musician I adore is coming to town, this is the place that booked them. I know I can always look at their line up for great shows. They could do a bit more to revamp the old movie theatre setting and make the environment a bit more fun. I would add that while I was injured and using crutches, the staff were extremely accommodating and made sure I had elevator access all night long - I really appreciated this. On two visits they did this for me and were very patient and helpful about it, even if I just wanted to step out to smoke. Always amazing music and great performances here.

Saw Street Sects here. Nice dive bar atmosphere. Some seating. Would see other shows here. Can't say I'd have any other desire to come here though.

Dj So Supreme is a break beat assassin that they let loose on the bins a couple of times a month.
Tried to find a fun 18+ location Downtown for my Bachelorette party as one of my bridesmaids was not 21 yet. There was a large line outside and they told us they were 18+ so we thought we’d check it out. Turns out the line was for a concert upstairs, not Bar Fly. There was NO ONE! We danced on the poles for a little bit and then requested a song that did not get played. Overall it was a waste of the $5 to get in. I would not recommend Bar Fly.
Great space for a concert. Was upstairs, and it looked like there was seats available, but were blocked off. Staff was a little rough. Drink prices high.
Worst 18+ nightclub I’ve ever been to, advertised on website to be 15$ then charged 25$, smelled like weed the moment you get to the 4th floor, left within 10 minutes, rave/techno music where people stand 5 feet apart and bob their head up and down, coat check is 4$, not friendly staff, sketchy environment, thumbs down bruh.
they have great djs but they suck at returning massages about events.
This place has definitely gone downhill over the years. Now it's overpriced for nothing, the bar is just a club bar so its nothing special and the environment is not inviting. I've found this place dirty in multiple occasions and the staff is never friendly. If you're going there for a show or a specific artist, you can bypass alot of what's wrong with this place by just focusing on your friends and the experience but I wouldn't pick this place just to go clubbing, ever.
