Such a fun little place in the lobby of the hotel! It was a nice place to have dinner after our long drive! The service was great! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The food was spectacular!
Greg is literally the best in the cities if not the world. Great drinks, fantastic service, couldn’t ask for more.

I've been here twice now pre and post First Ave shows. The service was attentive and the drinks tops in presentation and unique flavor choices. Also, whoever put the specialty menu together is clearly a gin lover (like me ?). Love the overall chill vibe. Quality late night snack choices were a nice bonus!
It's a tourist trap folks. If you're looking for a decent beer pour this is the place. The cocktails will leave you with a sad bitter taste in your mouth. Props to the servers for excellent customer service.

Greg is LITERALLY the most wonderful person ever. My boyfriend & I came back specifically because of him! He has the most charming, non-invasive personality & is incredibly kind! Greg, you are a true treasure & we will be back soon just to have one of your phenomenal drinks!!!!! Seriously, bud simple syrup is a game changer!!!!!
Met a friend downtown here, at the mere convenience of it being their hotel bar.I was pleasantly surprised by my experience — Greg is a phenomenal bartender who knows how to make quality drinks. The Old Fashioned was stellar.Important to note that it is not the most lively bar, but a great place to drinks and talk at a normal level.
Best. Old. Fashioned. in Minneapolis; hands down - not up for debate.One of the top three things that I miss about working from the office, is stopping by Apothecary on the way home for an Old Fashioned.Their Old Fashioned is not typical; I believe they use some sort of floral liqueur along with a wash of walnut as well. The setting is great for conversation or just unwinding after the day, with occasional good people watching opportunities if it's a weekend or some sort of event is in town. These Old Fashioneds are also HUGE; probably at least double the size of some places and have never failed to get me just the right level of tipsy before continuing the rest of my walking journey home.
The first time we went here Greg the bartender served us. Let me tell ya he is the aficionado of drink making, especially Old Fashions! He know's his stuff and my husband loved his drink and I did as well! He had an Old Fashioned and I had the "Cracking Up" which was amazing! The Charcuterie board was an amazing pair when we needed a snack. The aesthetic of the bar is super cool as well! The second day we went we had bartender Bruce who was also very amazing and knew his stuff about drinks! He was also very professional and fun to talk to. We checked out local bars in the area and Apothecary was HANDS DOWN THE BEST BAR IN THE CITY WITH THE BEST DRINKS EVER!
