Yassa Chicken was amazing. Very full of flavor
Generous servings, very good food, reasonable prices. I’ve tried their sambusas, falafel, and lamb japati and enjoyed it all. The staff was kind and welcoming while they managed a big group of orders close to closing time.
I tried to like this place but they do not follow the info they put online. They close randomly when the info provided to customers says they will be open. Also they always seem to be out of stock on random items they do not seem to buy enough product to meet customers orders.
The one near u of m is better. No seasoning or love in the food.
Amazing food and great service
Had the yassa chicken. It was good and the portion was generous.
Crew needs major attitude adjustments, they are not the only ones affected by this pandemic, please teach them proper customer service, until then, no more afro deli until i go to downtown saint paul. its ridiculous to have to do that much because this crew seems to not like their customers, personally that is fine- but humble yourselves seriously. Wish i could give Zero, that is how terrible their attitudes are.
I love the food and location! My office accidentally placed a large order to the wrong location and they were very accommodating and got our order ready in less than half an hour. Their sambusas are delicious! All the entrees I’ve tried so far have been great as well.
If I could give it a zero I would.Lady at the cash register was sarcastic from the get go. The chicken qasadilla was fine but the veggie platter had rotten salad, and the falafals were overfried. When I went back to go get a refund they didn't apologize or offer anything they told me a simple "no" that my food was not over fried & the salad was not rotten.......while we were all looking at it.Once I realized they had ZERO customer service skills I said "are you going to give the refund or not" & they reluctantly did. Never coming back to this afro-deli again.
I love it and I will be there in my next visit to the US ??
