I have been there on two separate occasions this summer where some of the most "famous" items (tea cakes) were not in the case. Both times I was told they were still baking. When asked what time I could plan on arriving to have access to ALL the things, I was told that it was "just random" and "to try back later." I wasn't the first one in the door either day, we were an hour plus into operating hours.I bought some other stuff since there weren't any tea cakes, and some of it was very clearly day-old (days?). This place used to be so amazing, now I am just gonna hit the grocery store for equal quality items.

Stopped by person the recommendation of a friend. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant, which was very tasty. I will be back again to try more of the selection.I was also quite impressed specifically with their ice cream prices. In comparison to some other shops, their prices were competitive. I'll be back soon to try it!

I had an interesting experience there on Monday. I stopped in to buy a friend and his wife some cheesecake. As I was looking at the options I asked one of the employees to give me two raspberry cheesecakes. As I continued to look I noticed a price difference so I asked which was more popular, vanilla or raspberry. I said on the sign the raspberry cheesecake is $4.50 and the vanilla is $5.75, the young lady said they were the same price. I said I would like the advertised price. The young lady grabbed the $4.50 sign and walked away without acknowledging my comment. Ok, so at the register they rang up as $5.75, I asked about the price difference (different employee) but no response, I took that to mean pay $5.75 or leave. If it wasn’t for the kindness I was trying to repay to a friend I would’ve just left but against my better judgment I paid the $5.75. I could care less for the price, the principle that it was advertised as one price but not honored & all inquiries ignored made me feel disrespected. Made me wonder if I looked different would I have been treated different. I will not return to this bakery.

Got some cookies, bars and mini cheesecake for a party. Everything was delicious and eaten up so quick! Favorites were the chocolate chip cookies (huge), lemon bars and butter bars. They recently added ice cream to their menu! Staff were friendly and fast even though they were very busy. We will be back!!

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. That means I hate that I love this place as much as I do! I happen to love donuts and danish. I stopped on a whim on my way out of town and grabbed a few items. The standout - the simple cake donut with chocolate frosting - no sprinkles.I cannot do justice to how amazing these are. They're fresh so there is a bit of a crisp to the outside of the donut. The inside has a delicate texture and tastes amazing. I cannot describe what happens when the chocolate frosting begins to melt on your tongue. This is THE place for the world-class cake donut with chocolate frosting. So simplistic yet that's why it works. It's not trying to be anything else but what it is.

The place has wonderful pastries and cakes. I just tried their fruit tarts and it was delightful. And they have the princess torte in green marzipan which definitely makes me feel like I'm in Sweden once again. The cake itself it very fluffy and light, and doesn't feel heavy at all.

Love that they added glazed donuts, also there cookies and cream cupcakes are soooooo good. Recommend there Italian sodas. There dog friendly too as they offer treats for dogs.

They have the best cake donuts and are the only donuts my fiancé will stomach! The prices are so reasonable too. I’m so glad my coworkers talk about this place so much that I had to bring in a couple dozen donuts in and purchase a few for at home. Keep up the great work- can’t visit for another donut stop! :)

They made a beautiful cake for my Granddaughter and it was so tasty. Thank you so much!

This place has some of the best baked goods in Minneapolis but the customer service is AWFUL. We’ve had several bad experiences the past few months at this bakery and as of lately the staff working has been very rude and short with customers and they act as if we are bothering them when trying to place an order. And forget about trying to place an order over the phone like advertised; I was told that they were kind of busy right now (in a very snotty tone) and no one took my order. Very disappointing!
