Our server bartender and kitchen assistant were terrific. My lady had the pastrami sammich, and it was really good. Unfortunately, I had the Philly and the beef was dry and the bun was even quite dry on the ends. The server was gracious to offer some au-ju...not sure if she upcharged or not. I also added the homemade onion rings; 3 large ones. They could be onto something with them, however, they were actually doughy and undercooked.All in all, pints of Coors Light tap were $4.50 and Summer Shandy was $6! The sandwiches were basically $17 a pop so for the money spent, we probably won't be back anytime soon. Bummer as I saw pretty decent reviews from the past and the atmosphere seems like it could be fun.Oh, and they do have pulltabs if that's your thing.
I had a group of 15 retirees for a monthly lunch. Upon arrival I was a bit nervous,the parking lot is in need of repair to put it mildly...and there was litter near and around the entrance. Once inside very pleasantly surprised..Large, tasteful decor and welcoming staff. We had a room to ourselves,an extensive menu and most importantly an attentive and efficient server. The food arrived all at the same time,hot and fresh. Plentiful serving sizes..Every thing looked delicious and all said their food was very good.
Been playing volleyball here for years. Nice courts, good food and drinks. Server's have always been nice as well
The food was very mediocre at best. The atmosphere is great though. Good place to have drinks with friends and maybe a snack of bar food. But it's not worth to sit down. They have a ton of kids choices but no kids actual kids menus. Not a big deal, just a fyi. It's been very quiet the last couple times we've been here. Great service too. Just not the best food in town.
I’ve been here a few times. Food is good. Service is all over the place. One time great and the next I am walking out. Recently I called to make a reservation and the host said that there was no need to make a reservation because they were not busy. I arrived 10 minutes later and there was a 2 hour wait.
The waitress we had didn't even seem to care we were there. She was working behind the bar. The other lady waited on us a nd she was Fantastic. Can't remember her name. But she was the one with the red baseball hat on ?
Everyone loved their food except me.Staff is decent. Food is good.Few small issues but overall good.
The food is fantastic. Teaching new staff how to place people at tables where they aren't a bother to other patrons, still needs a bit of work. We were there early, but apparently they knew an entire hockey team and their parents were coming in to eat. They placed us in the back room and we were just served and eating when they arrived. We just kept hearing the kids and parents complaining that they didn't have enough room to seat all of their people together and they had reserved that room. Why did you seat us there knowing you had a huge party coming in? The rest of your restaurant was empty. Needless to say we packed up our stuff and tried to move to the bar area so we didn't have to deal with all of that yelling and crazy anymore. Then these kids were off and running! Interuptive to the rest of the bar and restaurant, even Bingo downstairs! Yes, they went running downstairs, unattended! A man from downstairs at Bingo came up to complain to the parents to keep their kids "on a leash!" A bit much but I could understand his concern. They were running all over the bar. It was chaos. Staff members didnt stop this, some random man had to come in and say something to the parents.
Staff was very friendly, and even gor our weird orders right.Oh, and the best cheese curds ever. Thin batter, just enough to contain all the ooy gooy cheese.
Fantastic meal. Great service. Went in there on a Wednesday night it was pretty empty. Plenty of places to park. I ordered the shrimp avocado cheese burger medium rare with yum yum sauce on the side and no bun. It was perfect! In fact it was so good I started eating it and forgot to take a picture. The table also got onion rings a single order. And it was huge. They were fabulous. Home battered big onion rings. Cooked to perfection. I will absolutely go back and have the exact same meal again it was that good. Kudos to the cooks and kudos to our wonderful server.
