Staff is friendly-it’s the food quality and cleanliness that is less than satisfactory. The black coffee cups were filthy, like they forgot to wash them and a-lot of the food looks like frozen TV dinner quality. The dessert selection is little to nothing and the ice cream area is down to nothing but pump your own ice cream-no toppings…nothing. BRiNG BACK OLD COUNTRY BUFFET
I would have given one star but Greg out attendant was worth the extra star. There were so many items that were not available. Empty pans, dried up product. Tags were not even changed over from breakfast. This is at 1:30pm. I know there is a shortage on help in many areas but basic items were out or mislabeled and it was not worth the hour drive, nor the cost to eat here. The selection even if it was full was sparse to begin with. Not impressed in the least. Won't go back but made sure Greg knew we appreciated his service. So if you see this Greg thank you. The tables were all cleaned up quickly and sanitized. You made sure our extra plates were removed efficiently and the level of personality you gave is perfect. Hope you have a good day...you know what have a great life. Your smile was worth the trip down.
We went to this place for my niece graduation and it was not so good. I tried some fish it wasn't fresh. I also tried some ribs which were very good it is the only thing that I really liked. They have different price for the buffet kids from 9 to 13 pay different the kids from 5 to 8 I think and adults prices. The buffet is a medium sized one they have from salad to dessert. A taco bar, pizzas, a person cooking steak on demand and more. They also have drink fountains. I don't think I will go back to this place as I wasn't really impressed.
Never been to a restaurant this filthy before in my entire life. I used to live in Wisconsin, & I would always remembered going to Golden Corral with great service, great food and cleaned atmosphere. I still cannot believe that this place is so trash. Got there, we had to go get our drinks which I was not informed about at all, secondly the tables were dirty and the floor were very messy filled with scraps and straws. When we finally got the chance to get our food, oh my goodness..! Food were so messy, the workers/employees didn’t even cleaned the surface from the food pans, they also didn’t even cared to refilled the food, & the servers didn’t even take our finished plates away. The dessert area was so nasty, ughhh there’s just so many more to say but I’d rather stopped here. Please do better, at hiring a better team w/ better management system. This will be my last time coming here.
It was OK. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. Had lots of options which is a plus but food taste needs a lot of work. Most of the food didn't taste good, and the meat was extremely fatty. However their salad bar, amount of choices, freshness, and oh my, their buns are heavenly.
I had my first take at Golden Corral yesterday and I must say most of the food was amazing. But I do have some complaints about some of the staff and clientele. The lady at the cash register was super short with me like she didn't want me there and then I got heckled leaving the place, plus the steak guy had a really bad attitude with me with him rolling his eyes at me when I politely asked for a medium rare steak. Some things may need some work on attitudes, but all in all, one of the best buffets I've ever been to.
Excellent, we took our two granddaughters that had never been to a Golden Corral. Shame on their parents. Lol we was disappointed to tell them all about the chocolate fountain just to get there & find out it was no longer there. :( Can't say it's Covid because we traveled the entire west coast & Ohio they all have theirs up & running.
Went on Easter Sunday, mid afternoon. There was a line waiting out the door. It went fast, and we were seated. No food was ever empty, nor was a table. The food was unexpectedly delicious. I expected good food, but today was absolutely top notch scrumptious! Went back for the same and more. Everything we ate was hot and so good. Kudo's to all the chef's and cooks! In addition, the workers were working hard, keeping tables clean, pathways, and the buffets.Best experience. And excellent job by management, and all staff, front end and back!! The staff are fantastic. Super welcome, great service, everything you'd want. That's where the "good" ends.At $15+ per adult (with a beverage), you can find better food elsewhere. We came at 6:30 on a Friday. While you could get a steak grilled for you however you'd like, literally everything had been sitting out for hours. Much of it looked like it was being repurposed from other meals earlier in the day, and the "queso" by the taco bar literally had a vomit hue color to it.Again, amazing staff and service and I'd even throw some of the dessert up there. But much of the food left us to feel desired.
Nice place. Very friendly staff. Helpful. The food was good. Great variety. We met for a family get together. The staff helped set up an area for all of us. Highly recommend.
