Decided to stop in here for dinner with the family. Overall, we had a great experience, minus the service (but let me explain).Our server in particular was not that great. He looked overly stressed, annoyed, passive, etc... however all of the other servers around that we saw were the complete opposite, so as my wife says, "we received the dud" for the server lol.Otherwise, everything else was amazing. The bread was too good causing us to eat too much of it lol. I got the Chicken and Sausage dish wich was delicious. We also got the classic and steak bruchetta which was really good and almost filled us up before our actual entre came out. Everyone else really enjoyed their food as well.I think this is a 5-star restaurant, but definitely wanted to call attention to the service we received. Maybe we can re-rate in the future when we visit again.
If you eat at a place often enough you get a bad meal and it happened to me. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it was bad bad. Dry dry dry.
I treated a young man to a meal for his birthday. Food and service was exceptional. They always make you feel special.
We are at Biaggi’s Maple Grove last night. Our waitress was an absolute QUEEN. I wish we remembered her name, we left her an excellent tip. Food wasn’t my favorite but it definitely was far from awful. I got the salmon & Shrimp Risotto. Shrimps were delicious. I got the cucumber martini. Definitely lots of cucumbers in it, not a very strong drink though! Prices are reasonable everything was less than $25 a dish, except for 1-2 dishes. Not sure if we’d be back because of location (we live farther north) but definitely a solid place for Italian cuisine.
We met our son here for his Birthday dinner (his venue choice) and like every visit at several different Biaggi's...we really enjoyed our stop. The service is always excellent and the cloth napkins are appreciated.Being a Friday during Lent, I ordered the Dijon Salmon (see picture) and my wife ordered the Seared Scallop Risotto (see picture). Consistently phenomenally great service and amazing food both times I've been here. It has ruined Olive Garden for me for sure. This place has food that tastes home made, the staff are friendly and attentive and the ambiance is great. My sister and I went here to celebrate our birthdays and our entrees came faster than alot of places bring drinks!
So many of my friends were raving about this place so obvi I had to check it out!We ordered the pick 3 (seafood scampi, roasted sirloin, smoked salmon) for $16.99 bruschettas, FETTUCCINI WITH LOBSTER $18.99, and CAPELLINI DI MARE $19.99.Bread comes on the table. 2 choices.Of the bruschettas that we had, we really only liked the seafood scampi one. If you like seafood and garlicky things, you’ll love this! The other two just were… bland ?I ordered the fettuccine lobster. You could see the lobster pieces and little strings of mushroom in there. Personally, I wish they would have drowned it in sauce or at least do a bit more but oh well. The taste was “just fine”, probably because there just wasn’t enough and some noodles were stuck together. I hate hate haaatteee when that happens!!! Icky!My friend got the other main dish. It’s her fave and it’s seafood and tomatoey. If you like those things then that’s the one for you. Mine was the more creamy one and I enjoyed that more than hers.The staff was semi-attentive even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy. Maybe low staffed. Always got what we asked for and always a smile on his face.Overall this isn’t going to be my new “go to” place or anything like that. I don’t think I’d come again if someone else doesn’t suggest it. I won’t turn it down, but I won’t be the one to have the craving. Maybe this will change if I try something else that I really enjoy here!
