We came in on Father’s Day, and they obviously had many call ins. The servers that were there were fast and efficient - and we were served by the manager who was working with the servers and even helping bus tables! The food was delicious - I had the queso burger which was made to my specifications, served hot and timely. We had an excellent visit with family there - the staff really are amazing there, and the food is excellent! Highly recommend!
Ross was a great server! I am appalled by the two women who were so rude that he ended up leaving before his shift was done. I hope they are able to keep him on staff. To those women, I hope you’re cruel words were with it.
This place did not represent the franchise right. Everything was off. The food was a little warmer instead of hot. The mash potatoes did not have any butter, the lava cake and fries were served warm smh I don’t know what was going on in that kitchen, but I won’t be visiting this location again. The only thing that was great, was the drink!
Great place to get a drink/app or just a bite to eat. Not busy and fast seating. I ate at the bar and my bartender Ross is super chill & cool. Great advice and great customer service.*try the blue aloha margarita (frozen)*You will thank me later!
My girlfriend and I just ate dinner at the Applebee's in Maple Grove (4/23/2022) and we got a table that was very dirty and sticky and smelled like old dishes. We asked the waitress to wipe it down, so she sent another girl to do that. Then the lady just wiped it with a paper towel and didn't really clean it. It was still exactly the same way as it was before. So we told our waitess afterwards that it was still sticky and the same way as before and she just told us that is was probably just the humidity in the room and she tried treating us like we were kids, like we didn't know anything. She NEVER offered us a different table or tried wiping the table down herself.Also, the silverware was so disgusting and dirty, luckily we didn't have to use them.So, Maple Grove: We should all start sharing reviews and pictures of where we eat that is not sanitary because especially with Covid still around, we all need to beware of places that don't seem clean.Here are some pictures
I enjoy the happy hour deals and the 2 for 20$ deals. The only thing I dislike is there seating in small sections. If there are only a couple wait staff on the sections are still small so people get stuck sitting too close to other people. Sometimes obnoxiously loud teens and adults, crying infants. In my opinion is fewer servers should equal larger sections.
We tried to dine in this place. The host disappeared for a good 8 minutes after sitting a couple, who came in in front of us. He never came back, just was lookingat us from far away, so went out our way to better place. Not worth it to even say anything. ?????
This was the second time I gave Applebee’s a try at this location. The first time the server was snooty and rude this time today the dishes were NOT CLEAN, food was super undercooked where the blood was on the plate. The server petite Caucasian long brown hair, her personality reminded me of Cruella off of Dalmatians. She didn’t smile, she rolled her eyes. I don’t know her name because she didn’t have a name tagg on.When the server brought out my husbands and I plate she threw it in front of the manager. The manager didn’t say nothing. The chicken Alfredo they brought my daughter the plate has Alfredo sauce and food stuck to it. The manager said, The cook wears gloves so that may be why…” My response to her was I work in hospitality I know what presentation is suppose to look like, taste like and feel like. This is my second time complaining Maple grove and Fridley location really need some hospitality and customer service refresher courses. I will be happy to teach a class. Didn’t get a chance to take pic of food because at this point I had lost my appetite. Moving forward a bit of advice for the WHOLE STAFF or cooperation is to treat your guest how you would treat the people you love. You never know what guests that come in the restaurant are going through or how the day has been going. To be treated so poorly is an insult especially when people are spending their hard earned money. Which helps YOU earn a living. Food for thought.
I just want to say how happy I have been with this Applebee's for takeout. They never mess up, the steak is always cooked well and everything is fresh when we arrive. Thank you! ?
