Ordered a takeaway last night at 630pm, food dim arrive till 830pm, food was cold, absolutely shocking, be quicker to walk and get it, won’t be getting from there again
so hard to find good chinese food south of the metro. Yu's is delicious. i've had their sweet and sour chicken/orange chicken, lo mein, beef and broccoli, and chinese vegetable and all were exactly what i was looking for. their eggrolls are very good as well. a little small and more like fried spring roll but no complaints. VERY good and definitely the best chinese takeout in Mankato.
This place was empty when I got there. I dropped 40 dollars on lunch for 2 people. The food was soggy. And my order was wrong. It was not good and I feel bad for saying that but it was not worth the 40 dollars. I feel like no effort was placed in making my lunch. The egg rolls were not fully cooked and so small for being 2 dollars a piece.
We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Eve with takeout!!! I just dropped off a list of our choices, paid in advance and let them know when we’d like to pick it up. It was hot and ready on a very busy night and we were so pleased with the meal. We set out a smorgasbord of entrees with rice and noodles and had a very relaxing meal. We decided we need to make this our Christmas Eve tradition!!! Wonderful. I’m sure it wasn’t an easy night with so little staff and such a high demand for takeout, but they didn’t let us down. Thank you for a great supper!!!
Ours was terrible, I had beef and broccoli and my hubby had curry shrimp. They literally tasted the same , $30 bucks, no rice and guess egg rolls only come with one these days. Oh and by the way… if you call to order and they say…”yeah” that’s their greeting. Literally no customer service. “Hello, this is yu’s may I help you?” Nope nada nothin! Told us it would be half hour wait and we got there it was another 15 mins! DONT waste your time, last owners were way better! I think my husband went to go make a peanut butter sandwich!
Very bland food. Not clean looking inside of restaurant. I can't get over how monotonous and bland tasting the food is. YUCK. Please don't come here.
First time here, the 1 star is for the fried rice. The cheese wontons had very little cheese, The Minnesota chow mein was runny and contained next to zero chicken, the Kung Pao chicken had none of the listed ingredients but rather zucchini, green beans and carrots and no discernible flavor. The Chong Qing Spicy chicken ( recommended by the gentleman behind the counter), had an odd flavor and what tasted like burnt chicken. The hallway to the restroom was completely dark, as was the restroom until I located the light switch after considerable effort. It appears as though the floors are never washed or a good coating of glue is applied frequently. Based on other reviews I was hoping for a better experience.
Just ordered shrimp fried rice and egg was burned and I only got 4 shrimp called and ask what was going on explained how my food was and and what they can do they sat the phone down and stop talking..have pictures asked if they want me to send it still no response..
Used to be a good place. No seating and long wait. Total dump.
Thee absolute BEST Sesame Ckn & Pineapple Ckn in Mankato! Perfect large portions with enough sauce in containers for your rice. Oh boy! We just moved to Mankato and have been sampling our fav Chinese foods at different locations. Yu's is our new regular take-out restaurant.
