Didn't think I'd be writing a bad review of the place I used to like so much. The interior is dirty, the staff is slower and the drive through makes you wonder if you should've came inside to order instead of waiting 25 minutes trapped in the line.
My experience with this Panera and so many others that I've tried recently is that they are understaffed. The tables are sticky. The floors aren't clean. The beverage dispenser isn't working and the "Charged" drinks need to be refilled. The bathrooms weren't clean and needed toilet paper/paper towels. The food has been mediocre. Yesterday at Panera, the employees preparing food looked like they disliked their jobs. It really left me wondering whether I want to return to Panera, given how consistent my bad experiences have been with this chain. If they cannot staff properly, they should probably be reducing their hours. Only offer service if you can provide good service and keep your restaurant clean. This one yesterday was disgusting. Here's a photo of a cookie underneath our table. At a nearby table, the customer was spraying the table and wiping it off because it was dirty.
The food is ok. Not as good as it once was. Still better than burgers. They always seem to be out of the soup or salad that I want. Service is VERY slow. I waited over 10 minutes in the drive thru for a sandwich, a salad, and a cup of soup.
we have had pretty decent service until our last visit. my wife's order was up in a bag sitting on a counter for 15 mins before the finally gave it to her and she asked the guy at the register if that was hers and he didn't know. she was so angry, and her food was cold!
I love Panera.But the wait times at this particular location is out of hand. I would love to come here on my lunch but every single time without fail I spend 30-35mins of my 45min break waiting for my food even with no line in the drive through, for a salad and lemonade. Not a very complex order. Even if you pre order it will spend for ever pending. Only go here if you have time to burn and have nothing else going on.
It took over 30 minutes to get half a sandwich and salad. They had no tomatoes for the salad and the top piece of bread on my sandwich was literally half the size of the bottom piece so my sandwich was a mess. Definitely not worth the wait.
First off they forget my muffin that I paid for when I go to pick up my order, not a big deal, but then I see my sandwich was made wrong, then I taste my wrap and the lettuce is beyond disgusting. It’s clearly expired. This is the lettuce on the breakfast wraps. Absolutely disgusting and so disappointed that someone would serve this to a costumer.
good food always busy they need a bigger store
It used to be SO good but the last 4 times I've been there/or ordered delivery from has been negative experiences. Especially lately because I am part of the Ultimate Sip Club and they have been completely out of everything but some fountain drinks the last few times. Ridiculous to pay $10 a month and never able to get drinks from there. And the last two times I tried to go they closed 2 hours early and had signs on the door but nothing online saying it.
I went in to wait for my rapid pickup order - there was a delay. I sat at a table in view of the window after moving a broom left in the dining area. That's when I noticed my arm was stuck to the table...and the crumbs. As I looked around the dining room it was obvious that nothing was clean. This was at 715am on a Sunday. It was not busy. When my order was done an employee yelled to me from across the room asking if I was waiting for an order. I walked up to get it and noticed the box of pastries was put in the bag sideways. Then I noticed they had put a wrong item in the box. This is one of the few places that doesn't serve fried food in Mankato and I can get an actual salad. But the management is so awful I would rather drive to Minneapolis. It was bad before the pandemic, but now it is much worse!
