Amazing food and great service!
First visit but probably going to be my favorite restaurant in town great food and service ?
Amazing dinner. Hubby and both had the duo dinner. Delicious thai pork with rice and steak with potatoes. The thai sauce was slightly spicy and so flavorful. Pork was my fav and so perfectly cooked. Steak was great, too. Thanks for not making me decide. Great dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olive. Hubby and I shwted the trio dessert. So awesome. Good service, as well
My wife and I dined at Olives tonight 2/15 thanks to a generous gift card given to us by family. This was our first time. While our waitress, Brooklyn, provided us with good service and the food was hot and enjoyable, the first 10 to 15 minutes of arriving was less than permissible. When we arrived we stood at the entrance in full view for at least 10 minutes only moving out of the way for a produce delivery. We only saw the bartender andc2 cooks through the windows. After an uncomfortable awkward wait we asked the bartender if we were supposed to sit ourselves or wait. He clearly appeared to be annoyed or frustrated. There were plenty of customers at the bar. Saying nothing he walked over to the hostess station. We approached. Finally a hostess came over and took over. She neither greeted us or apologized for the wait. She seated us with the informing that our waitress would be right out. We were very concerned. Thankfully Brooklyn did a good job with service and the food was good. In my humble opinion the experience could have avoided if the hostess would said hello or sorry to keep you waiting.
Olives Mediterranean Restaurant is fantastic. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner there, when in Mankato. Every meal was delicious and the service is impeccable. It's the best part of the Hilton Garden hotel.
I didn’t actually eat here but the employee that got out of his car and berated people trying to checking into the hotel and then did so again once he walked into the lobby around 5pm today needs to be let go. My travel party of 8 were planning to eat there and was one of the reasons we chose the hotel we did but we made other plans after watching him walk into the restaurant taking his coat off. If you’re late for work, it’s not everyone else’s fault jerk. No one wants to go to your establishment when you talk to people that way!
The service was great. They have downsized their menu due to costs, no quail, duck or lamb. The other menu choices are great. I had the small caprese salad and the chocolate martini. Son has prawns with angel hair pasta and a grape tomato with mozzarella balls salad. Hubby had the Phoenix & Dragon dish pasta with a curry sauce with shrimp & chicken. They were not serving creme brulee so we skipped dessert. We will definitely go back because the food is delicious and friendly service!
My boyfriend and I had the spinach and artichoke dip, curry pasta and blue cheese steak and we were absolutely blown away. Our server was super professional and Alyssa did an amazing job on everything we ate and I heard comments about how good the food was from everyone in the large group that was seated next to us. It was our first time at Olives, and it definitely won’t be our last! We were too full to try any of the desserts but the spread looked amazing
The lunch buffet is amazing! Excited to go back and try the dinner menu!
