We went into Olivia Garden in Mankato MN for supper. They had a pretty limited menu and the seasonings on the dishes were bland. Excellent service and management who addressed each table. Just wish the food was better.
Walked out after 15 minutes. Waitress took our drink order and never returned with it. She didn't seem to have a problem helping anyone else. People that came after us even order their food before we walked out after not getting drinks.
Enjoyed the all you can eat soup, salad, and breadsticks. Always great! Always super fast. We had excellent service from a very friendly and efficient waitress named Cindy. She was top notch! Can’t go wrong with Olive Garden.
Great location. Both our waiter and host were so friendly! We got the lunch Soup and Salad for $9.99. Great deal! Food came quickly and was really good! This is a nice place to eat in Mankato!
Food was good, but my friend ordered soup that we never received and the service wasn't all that great. They weren't busy either so I'm not totally sure what happened. Good food as always but the service was well below par.
Went to go get seated, order drinks the waitress verified that I am over 21. My ID is snapped in half the Manger came over and told me it was an in valid license. Anywhere else takes it and it's not a fake. Most definitely was rude about it as well.
Olive Garden Restaurant! ???This restaurant located in Mankato, Minnesota is a great place for some Italian Cuisine. They serve a huge variety of Pastas ? . A beautiful ambiance and some very good service. Highly recommended and a must try.
Our waiter Noah was very kind and helped out our party of six very well and made sure we where doing well frequently and always had a smile on his face! The food was great as well and was done quickly
Very delicious birthday dinner soup and breadsticks with cake for dessert ? The only problem was that we made reservations 3 days ahead for 2 for a birthday. When we got there we were told we need to wait 10-20 minutes because a party of 23 called and said they were coming in that evening. I'm sorry but that isn't our problem and we called 3 days ahead to reserve a spot for two; as well as double checked the day of the reservation 5 hours prior to the reservation given the other guest is in cancer remission, so we wanted reservation confirmed and that we had a low traffic table. That was not communicated or noted anywhere and when asking again for that accommodation explaining why the waitress scoffed and rolled her eyes. I felt blamed, like it was our job to create space for the other party, like asking for a safe place to eat for the birthday guest was too hard, and like we were a problem. I haven't experienced that before. Being in the service industry myself, I found this very rude to not apologize on their behalf, be courteous or kind, take ownership, or say we will gladly get you seated immediately without disclosing details like a party of 23 that called that day had priority over a birthday reservation for 2 with a cancer patient being one of the guests making it 3 days prior. No thanks.
My girlfriend and I were in on a date and had a great evening with extra sangria for one of us! ?Food is always premium, high grade stuff and the atmosphere is perfect. Albeit our waiter I think was either high or drunk (or both) and was being very weird/clingy and not leaving the table.. but other than that instance, top notch.Tl;dr: take your date here already, duh.
