Ford is money behind the bar. I asked for a not sweet mojito and it was the bomb! Perfect!! Thank you so much!
Celebrated my birthday here tonight. The duroc pork chop was amazing, along with the fantastic asparagus creme sauce for dipping. The chop was done beautiful with a nice brown sear/crust. I highly recommend
Number 4 has awesome food and even better staff. They are always very friendly and food comes out quickly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Number 4 has some of our favorite things. The Tuna bowl, shrimp, pasta. They also make a great drink.
I ended up eating here twice in one week for business. The menu selection is pretty standard fare for a place of this caliber. Most entrees come with one side, but if you want soup or salad, that's ala carte. I tried both the parmesan crusted halibut, as well as the steak. The fish was delicious and I would definitely have that again. The steak, oddly enough, had to grow on me. It was done exactly how I asked (med. rare), but it had kind of a funny char taste to it, almost like that liquid char that cheap steakhouses use. After a few bites, however, my palate adjusted to it and it was pretty good. The French onion soup is excellent, as are the garlic mashed potatoes. We also tried the asparagus fries, which were excellent, if you like asparagus. Dessert was dessert... Nothing terribly special. The cheesecake was delicious except the crust overpowered the taste of the filling. Cool place and great service. If you are heading out on a date or business dinner and want to impress, this place does the job alright.
The Easter buffet was amazing. Our family had a great time. Our male server was so professional. We were in booth on corner of building facing street and side Street where u park for 9:30 am reservation. Thank him plz.
We had Easter brunch. Food was excellent. Nice, cozy comfortable atmosphere.
Very nice atmosphere, amazing cocktail selection, and great food. You can definitely go high end or casual at this place. Try the cheese curds!
I recently tried this place after two Locals gave me the thumbs up as one of the better Mankato eateries. I'd called several days in advance for a reservation and mentioned it was a birthday celebration and preferred a quiet table setting. Upon arrival, the hostess tried to initially give us a high table and chairs adjacent to the bar in sort of a noisy, active area. I requested a switch to a visibly empty booth by a window and was eventually accommodated after some back and forth discussion. Our server was generally efficient and cordial but not unusually pleasant or personable. We like the soup offering, the main courses ordered were just average. The dessert we ordered was above average. The atmosphere and overall decor and fixtures at the restaurant were pleasant but nothing really special. The bottom line for me was that it was an average visit with respect to quality, but a somewhat below average quality/value proposition given the dollars spent. I wouldn't say I'd never return but would likely try alternative Mankato food offerings on a subsequent visit to town.
Been here in the past. Atmosphere is really nice. My food was really good, however my wife got salmon and it was not cooked at all. They did bring another one that was cooked better, but it unfortunately ruined her appetite and we didn't get a discount.
