Waitress was horrible! Took her a long time just to take our drink order then waited 15-20 minutes just to get it. Mind you, we were close to the bar and it was not busy. My friend ordered an appetizer which never came. The food came and when we asked about the appetizer her response was oh that's right, sorry. When starting to eat our French fries they were all cold. There were 4 of us that met there and not one of us finished our food. Then we waited and had to eventually ask to get the bill which ended up with 1 of them being charged for things they didn't have. All in all, worst experience I've ever had!!! Definetely Will never go back!!
TRIED to eat here on a slow week day afternoon. We never even got to see the menu. The people we assume were the bartender & waitress saw us come in, but never came to our table to give us menus or take our orders. They appeared to be doing a crossword puzzle that was more important.There were only about 4 other groups. Another customer who had a menu when we came in didn't get to place her order while we waited either.We were quite hungry and decided to leave instead of being ignored.

Waitress was very slow (15 minutes to get a drink) and we were at a table by the bar. She forgot our appetizer so we cancelled that when we got our food. Half the food was cold on top of that. To end the already horrible experience she messed up a friend's bill. All around was terrible.
I went to the NaKato Bar and Grill on a beautiful Sunday morning and the waitstaff greeted me with a smile as they showed me to my table. After a brief browsing of their menu I decided to go with the Turkey Bacon Melt. During a short wait for my meal I observed the decorum and thought that this is a perfect example of a southern Minnesota bar and grill with a few modern touches. When my food arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the crispness of the Texas toast and flavor of the bacon. The fries were perfectly cooked and after a light dashing of salt they were exactly how I like. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the NaKato Bar and Grill and would like to go again.
Well above average bar food - it is so good! Good tap selection and they have a nice outdoor patio to eat.
It’s been a while, covid and all. But we were very pleased with service, ambiance, and food, as I recall.
Always great food and service. Went for breakfast on this occasion. Unique pastrami breakfast sandwich with a pile of perfect hash browns. Yum!
Placed a take-out order. I was just a short distance away...less than 5 miles...they told me when it would be ready and I arrived, walked inside and they called my name to pick up the order. Paid and was out the door in less than 3 minutes! Food was still hot when I returned to my daughter's home. Excellent food and service.
One of my favorite go-tos in the Lower North Mankato neighborhood! Great atmosphere, staff and food! They have an amazing bourbon selection and great weekly specials! I can't recommend this place to enough people! Tonight I had the 8oz Wagyu Steak special with grilled mushrooms and black garlic red wine sauce with Cajun fries and a bottle of cabernet! Absolutely fantastic! ??
