Jake’s is probably the best pizza place in the Mankato/St. Peter area! They even have great gluten free options! They are friendly, reliable, prompt, and have amazing pizza options. In addition , they are a family owned business and they do an excellent job at supporting the community! Thank you Jake’s!
The pizza is good, especially the crust. The restaurant itself is dated. It's a college pizza place and it's not a chain, so Jake's lives up to expectations.
Jakes normally has great pizza and is a local favorite. However, tonight our house special pizza had no pizza sauce on it. Unfortunately this is not the first time. Friends and family have also had this problem. When we let the kitchen know they simply said it did have sauce and that we just couldn’t taste it because of the many ingredients in a house special. The pizza was dry without the sauce. We pulled back the ingredients to show a sauceless crust. Staff didn’t offer to remake the pizza or any remedies. It was a very disappointing pizza.
Need a pizza fix? This is the place to get it! Wow what a great crust, toppings everything was awesome. The wife had the Italian poor boy, was huge and very fresh. Will have to find excuses to go to Mankato a lot!!! Thanks for the great food, back soon.

Awesome place! Love the sports atmosphere. Amazing pizza! I love that they offer dairy free cheese! Owners are extremely supportive of our community too and donated some pizza boxes for a Kindergarten math project!
Started going to Jake's stadium Pizza back in the 70s when it was located on the corner by the movie theaters nothing else was around it. It is still the same great Pizza that I remember. Just had it last night, it's probably been 35 years since I last had it because I don't live in the area anymore.
Disappointed with the delivery. Ordered taco pizza, cheese bread with sauce and a 2 liter mtn dew. Pizza and cheese bread were both cold when delivered. Had to call back for the 2 Iiter. Both deliveries the driver set the food directly in front of door so I was unable to open the door without knocking over the food and the 2 liter. Also Taco pizza didn't come with lettuce sour cream etc. for toppings, just taco meat and cheese.
Nasty thought it was high class 12 years I finally went in it was old nobody there people that work there sat around bored and u get ur own food that's the reason I went out expensive kinda and my stomach hurt afterwards Evan my ferret was sick my two kids wouldn't it not Evan a whole slice u gave it to someone on the street never again
Went there tonight and it was a disappointment. Worst cheesebread I've ever had there and the pizza wasn't that great either. Always been great before tonight. dissapointed.
