I've got to be honest, this place has a few things that are good enough for me to come back once a month or so (namely i love the coconut chicken) but just about everytime i come here me and/or the people i come with end up either immediately in the bathroom or feeling nauseous even when eating different foods. be wary if you have a sensitive stomach
Downhill. I haven't been here since before 2020 and it has changed. Much smaller selection of food, it's all in one main line and than a dessert and salad line is separate. They give you a plastic fork and a paper cup. While going to get hard ice cream, they took our forks and cups from the table. Prices have gone up, like everywhere else, but I don't feel life this particular buffet is worth it anymore when I use to really like the place.
Ridiculuosly gross. Gross "meat" or "chicken" - and suspiciously smelly & tasting. Just gross. Sorry? Exorbitant mid-day buffet price! for few pickings. I lived in Mankato 25 years. We used to frequent this place now and then; at least the quality was predictable: Pre-plannedemic, it was good enough! but haven't dined here since b4 covid. Fast forward to today, Post-covid: very unappetizing. No hot tea. Or coffee. The labelled food trays isn't what's out. When asked for those items even though that's what they're advertising, it's not available. Sadly (because I like to give favorable reviews), this is unequivocally the worst Chinese restaurant experience I've ever had, to date. If you pay by credit card, note that they accept two kinds only: VISA & MC. × Cash, too. Plan in advance but, imho, better yet, patronize a different restaurant for a more favorable outcome. I hate that this review was warranted. I'd not do business here again unless there was definitely an improvement in quality. So sad.
Very very small selection of food. Not very many options here at this particular buffet. The freshness of the food and cleanliness of the establishment is by far the best quality.
Why the hell you closed on Tuesday's for? I really wanted to smash me your buffet but can't since you closed on Tuesday's.. pick Monday to be closed, if any day. This place will be outta mind n outta customer for a while due to this. Need to find a new, more accommodating location with just as decent food... so lame.

I used to love the China Buffet. Employees were friendly and they always had the food entrées filled up.. I loved the salad bar the best! Not even one smiled at me or said anything! Now the salad bar is small. They really mest up there. Get it back to the original size with all the fixings. That was my main reason for going there....the salad bar! They charge enough and they buy their food bulk so it shouldn't cost that much! The friend that was with me complained about the desert bar. Nothing was there!
This is, by far, the best China Buffet I have ever eaten at. The food is amazing and you can tell it's homemade, not ordered pre-made. There are so many options that 1 plate just won't do. I put myself in a "food coma" after stuffing myself with the awesome food. And they keep it fresh, constantly refilling the containers. It was piping hot with lots of flavor. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Typical boxes of supplies in some areas but I always expect that.
I have never been a fan. I came again and the food was decent, but I still dislike the onset, she's so rude and annoying. She tried to talk to customers the same way she talks to her employees RUDE. She is the reason I don't care for this place.
We’ve come to this restaurant many times & always have had real good Chinese food. The place is always busy when we’re there as well…..
