We have been to the Red Fox Tavern four times now. We went for the music, but were very happy that the food was really good. We had the Cubano sandwich, a burger, and the taco salad. Each meal was great. The servers are always polite and nice, they work hard. We will be back, there is nothing better than a band, and a nice menu to choose from while listening. Drinks were good too.
I struggle with this. Fox Tavern is obviously doing a good business, because they're busy... so busy that the staff is very slow in bringing beverages to the tables after they're ordered, or meal while it's fresh and hot. Pasta was stuck together like paste -- I'm guessing because it was under heat lamps for quite awhile. It was also barely warm. I guess we can help with them being too busy... It's getting harder for us to go back.
I love the outdoor live music while I enjoy some good food, thank you Red Fox!
The food is getting consistently better at the Red Fox Tavern. My husband and I enjoyed burgers on the patio and enjoyed live music. The staff seem overwhelmed on busier nights. They work hard but come prepared to be patient.
Stopped in for a bite after visiting Hot Sam's across the street. Surprisingly (in my mind, maybe that is normal) busy for noon on a Sunday. Ordered Nachos and the wife had a beer.Very friendly server, cold beer, nachos were good, with a lot of meat (many places skimp on that). But it seemed like it might have been sitting for a bit, a little cold on the surface, but still nice and steamy toward the middle. Tasted like it may have been canned chicken. All that said, it was still good, and reasonably priced for the times and current economic pressure of the industry.Would stop in again if out in that area.
Nice place was a bit busy for the limited staff I saw. They did great though. Thursday nights they have bingo and seemed to be a great place to be. The bacon cheeseburger was pretty good and with the side salad too. The savory wild rice sandwich was great.
Service was great and the server gave us other local recommendations to check out!
Probably better food if you are drinking. An adventure in eating, but not in a good way. They had to reheat the mashed potatoes they gave us twice just for them to be warm.
Great food! Great atmosphere! Friendly staff and a place to park my Rig without charging me! I’ll gladly spend my money here where truck drivers are welcomed. Big Thank you to the owner and staff.
