Pretty disappointed. Nothing was terrible or horrible or gross, but they just fell short of the mark all around.Service wasn’t great. We were not greeted by anyone and waited 5 minutes for someone to come to the host stand. A bit of a wait (not a problem, they were busy) then got seated. Our waitress took our order and never came back to check on us- we had to flag her down twice to get some ranch and a to go box.The food: fries were good. The classic cheese curds were oily- not even greasy, oily and not cooked all the way through. Mac and cheese had good flavor but was room temperature, almost cold. Burger was fine, nothing special. Two people, no beverages (alcoholic or otherwise), 2 entrees and an app, ~$55 after tip. We probably won’t be back.

We stopped here yesterday on our way to the Wild game for our 2nd visit here. We love the tap beer selection and the food has been really great both times. Burgers and sandwiches are top notch and plenty of options for sides. We watched an order of nachos come out and decided we will definitely be back at some point to try those! What put our experience over the top yesterday was our server, Robin. She was nice, had a bubbly personality, had some great recommendations for upgrades, and handled her very busy section like a true professional! She is truly a gem of a server and Northern Taphouse is lucky to have her!

Very busy place, which is a good thing. It's bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Seated right away and our server Tori was there immediately with a huge smile. Food was great with perfect portions and the service was just as good. TV's everywhere ?for gameday. We will definitely return.

Food was ok. Wife's burger was delicious. The tots my wife ordered tasted good, just not $4 good. They had ham and cheese in them. My tuna bowl was disappointing. Expected a few oz of tuna for what I paid. Razor thin slices that maybe made up an oz of tuna. Before ordering the Tuna Bowl, asked about shrimp tacos and specifically whether I could pay for a 4th. Was told no, simply because the holders used only held 3. Last time I checked, if a customer wants to pay more for a meal, that's a good thing. Service was otherwise good. I would not specifically go back to the Northern Taphouse, but I also wouldn't avoid it if someone else wanted to go there.

Amazing atmosphereTasty food; we tried tacos and burgersI love their variety of beersExcellent serviceDecent prices

Ordered a chopped chicken salad to go. It was pitiful, $14 and almost entirely lettuce with barely any toppings. Tomatoes were terrible. Only redeeming quality was the ranch, that was good.

The ambiance is slightly lacking but the food was great. This was my first time here. Had pizza and hamburgers. Both were delicious. The pizza crust reminds me of CT where I am from. Lots of Italians there and they know how to do pizza. Totally recommend this place.

Good food and Good atmosphere!!

Great selection of beers across all flavor profiles. The cheese curd burger was easily the best burger I've had this year, well cooked fresh ingredients, a perfect soft bun toasted lightly with two gigantic cheese curds that squished down into a perfect bite. A true chefs burger not just a bar filler food. Fries were well seasoned and cooked properly. My dining companion had the beyond burger and it was the best beyond burger they've had including a fancy Las Vegas version that cost almost as much as our entire meal here.Service was perfect, attentive and friendly but not in your face. Can't wait to go back.

I am a return customer to Northern Taphouse, despite it being a bit far away from where I live. The outside of the tavern features the name "Northern Taphouse" proudly displayed, then a quick summary: "Beer * Burgers * Pizza * Wings". What they left off that summary is "Great Service * Great Atmosphere and finally * Lots of TV's"!Yes, this is a lively, warm, friendly sports bar. I swear, there must be 50 large-screen TV's sprinkled throughout the bar/restaurant! It's impressive, if you're into sports! The beer selection is EXTENSIVE, and features loads of regional, national, and local offerings, all nicely categorized into their styles. Prices for beer are all around $6 - $8 for 16 oz pours, except for the specialty beers, where 10 oz pours are the norm. Those get expensive. The food is basic "sports bar" fare; I ordered the "jalapeno bacon cheddar infused burger" (see my photo) for $14, with a side of wild rice soup. The burger was small, but there were two patties, and lots of jalapeno and bacon! The taste was perfect, and it was well prepared. The wild rice soup was divine. They do offer a "Monday night burger night", where there is a good discount on all their burgers.Indi, our server, was the sweetest, most attentive, and wonderful server I've had in a long long time. She was able to answer all of our questions and ably gave us recommendations on the food selection. She knew beers, and recommended those, too! She was attentive at all times, and always with a big smile, despite the place being pretty busy. I was greatly impressed with the staff overall. If you're looking for a relaxed, casual, kids-friendly sports bar/restaurant with lots and lots of TV's, then Northern Taproom is a destination for you. I will be back there again soon!EDIT: Went to the Taphouse a second time last night - it was CROWDED, and FUN! This time, I tried their pizza (see photos); It was super good, especially the crust. The beer and our server Kendra, were both fantastic. It stays a 5-star rating for me.
