I've driven past this establishment for many years, but never took the chance to try it out. I had the fortunate opportunity to do that this past weekend, and I am so glad I did! The food was top notch. It was flavorful, a large portion size, and a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made our visit very enjoyable. I look forward to my next visit to The Buckboard Restaurant!

The Buckboard is one of those Mom and Pa restaurants that put the effort in cooking incredible, tasty, delicious meals for both breakfast and lunch!! ? Not only is the food awesome, but the Staff are welcoming, incredibly friendly and guest oriented!! You will not find a better breakfast in Lakeville!! ??
I've been a patron of Buckboard for the last few years. I thought I'd found a great little diner with good food good service and friendly staff. This morning we had an experience that complete erased those years of good will. The server was rude and impatient, as was the Manager/Hostess. My eggs were good. Hashed browns were burned. I don't dark and crunchy-I mean coal black and inedible. I'm pretty sure the sausage was rancid. My wife had hashed browns ($5.00) and toast ($3.00) also bad. Sorry ladies, you won't be seeing us again. BTW the restrooms are disgraceful.
Would've given an average 3 stars cause the food was OK but it's as noisy as a college bar. Lotta shouting, banging, and pounding. I just wanted to relax n enjoy my coffee after my meal n couldn't do that... felt like I was getting PTSD with the noise problem. Also felt very rushed... waitress immediately gave me a bill with my order.
Great service and so much food for the price. Best breakfast I have had in a long time.
Perfect hang over spot or just don’t care about calories that day. Come skip school spot; cant say i blame them. Small town feel. Authentic local spot right down the gentleman siting in a chair in the parking lots waving at passer buyers.
Very nice diner feel to this little restaurant. Food was excellent and the serving size was a nice amount of food. The pancakes are very hearty and delicious.The only issue was with the coffee. It was extremely watered down/bitter. Not a good cup of coffee at all.Service was on point and very prompt. Food came out very quick.Pricing seemed a little higher but this was definitely quality food. Eggs were real eggs (scrambled) so that was a nice change from other places that seem to use liquid eggs or powder.Overall, a very nice, quaint restaurant with a small town, diner feel. Will be back sometime in the future.
Can't get a better breakfast for the money at this little family owned restaurant. The people are friendly and service is great! The cooks know their stuff!
Great spot with the breakfast classics, (big portioned too!) The servers are absolutely amazing and always so friendly. Definitely a gem
This place has the best breakfast. It is a giant plate of food for the price and have never been disappointed. Waitress was the best.
