because they totally did us wrong won't be going back Said they witnessed a hit-and-run that they never witnessed
the food was not hot at all.
Babe's is where you go when you want to be yourself.Doesn't matter if you show up in work clothes, pajama pants or dressed like the church rush. The atmosphere is a great mix of Lakeville.
Great place. very friendly staff. I'm looking to go back a day when I have more time to stay and try the food.
Great food, good music complete bar, handicap accessible parking at doorway. Sunday mornings they have $8 omelettes and they are very good. Cool.
This has become our go to spot for happy hour after work. They have a great selection of on tap beers and the staff is always courteous. We'll be back again and again!
Love the service and food. Very nice place to be, also a very nice place to take your family. I love watching thr sports games here and having a few beers ?.
For years Babes has always been my place when i need me a pick me up. I can feel fat and ugly and then pass the threshold and feel hot and sexy! I really never gave much thought to the menu as I just assume they offered a basic bar menu. Well bingo during covid proved me wrong. They have basic bar food however The menu is impressive from the steak bites salad to the dogwood sandwich! Weather its a night of debauchery or bingo with the church ladies, Babes has you covered! (Just keep your eye out for the creepers; ever bar has them)
A few friends decided to try out bingo here. Had to sit in bar area where we were told well you’ll probably hear the numbers called. Finally ordered food after 45 minutes. Food was subpar , actually pretty bad. Warm( not hot)., borderline cold. Took forever to get another round of drinks . As bingo went on. Too loud and way too much going on with bingos and meat raffles. Had to pay bill. Waiter no where In sight. Sorry Babes. Will not be retuning. Pretty trashy place.
First edit: I didn't leave a written review but a 3-star, because my review in past seems magically disappeared on here and on their social media pages and the owner responsed hoping I'll have a 5-star next time. A Lakeville resident for almost 6 years and nothing has changed. They refuse to turn on closed captions every time we asked to. The bingo ball was too small to catch in dimmed lights and shaky hands of a bingo caller's and on the phone all the time, and we suggested having it on TV screens, I never saw it. A couple of times, a shift manager/owner heated "arguing" with us about me speaking up for the ADA rights, because we wanted a table close to the caller. We had to leave skipping bingo night disgusted. The bartenders like to flirt with customers (tried on their hat and modeled) while I waited to order my drinks for 10 minutes (and many more minutes on every visit). Oh, at around same time waiting for my order, two same bartenders walked pass me several times and taking their orders over me, whispered to each other then they told me they stop serving at 11:30pm and continued making drinks for other customers that made me question if I've died and became a ghost. It was in December 2021. That was one of my final straws, I've seen too much here. The only best things there is the manager, Katie M. on Wednesdays and Fridays, the darts, pull tabs, the nachos and a cute customer. The rest... I'll leave it be.Yes, we are their Deaf customers that buried in the back of the crowd. How's 5-star for that next time?
