What a great place,! They have some unique ways to order food. There are tablets of paper with a huge selection of items to build your own burger or salad. I did the build your own salad. It was the best salad I've ever had. Our waitress was fantastic, she was attentive but not pushy. We had cocktails because it was happy hour, $2 off the cocktails. I will definitely go back, next time I'm going to do the build your own burger. The regular menu had a lot of delicious looking items as well. Check them out, I think you will like it!

Highly recommend the Tavern on France! Overall great experience and excellent staff. The happy hour menu is a great value with lots of options for both drinks and food. The “build your own” burger, salad, and pizza ordering experience with the cards is really well done and much more extensive over other places I’ve been. I recommend any of those.Note, if you live in the area, check out there “dinner club program”. It’s a supper minimal one time joining fee but you get 20% off all your food and drinks. It easily pays for itself with your first two meals.

Great food and service. Buffet was excellent

We went for AYCE brunch on Sunday. Oh man it was so good. They have a beautiful patio and lots of space inside. I recall seeing fresh fruit, croissants, salad, hash browns, bacon, sausage links, chicken tortellini, loaded and regular scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh pancakes with multiple toppings and fresh carved roast beef. Our waitress also brought caramel cinnamon rolls. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back! I believe it was $18/person, not bad at all!

Literally the worst food I have had in a long time. The bruschetta was so hard I think I broke a tooth. I then ordered a Brie chicken burger that was disgustingly sweet. It was as if the chicken breast was marinated in simple syrup. I was brought a Jameson GINGER BEER instead of a Jameson Gingerale. I will never go back to that place

We were there for Easter brunch. It was exactly what we expected. The hostesses were very friendly as soon as you walked in. The wait staff was also friendly and very helpful. Someone was always clearing plates so you had a clean table. The food on the buffet line was great looking and tasted magnificent. I could only eat one plate but it was worth it. The mimosas were very good too. It was a great experience and we would go back for another holiday brunch.

Great service and food. We have been here on several occasions and it's always been good . They are great with allergies too! Today we were in for lunch (3/19) and ordered burgers. I ordered it medium. It came out raw, the server was phenomenal trying to correct it and felt truly bad. It was not his fault, and accidents do happen. The manager came over and said "your burger was raw?" We said yes and he nodded and walked away. We had one more interaction with the manager and he is probably one of the worst managers I have met, I feel bad that the staff have to deal with him. A leaders is someone who keeps their head up and offers the best customer service. The wait staff were great maybe one of them can take his place.

Medium rare steak cooked to perfection. Nachos were delicious as well. The burger was juicy and flavorful. Though they were super busy, the staff was attentive and seemed to be working well as a team. Overall a very satisfying experience with very fair pricing, I might add!

We LOVE Tavern on France! We’ve been coming here for years. The food is great, the servers are friendly, and my favorite - Happy Hour Appetizers. They have a ton of great options on their happy hour menu, but my favorite has to be the sesame sticks. Don’t be fooled - they’re not dry crackers. They are sesame breaded chicken strips and they are AMAZING. Incredibly juicy, generously sized, and the best part is they come with 4 different dipping sauces. So if you’re like me and you want to rotate between all the condiments - this is the appetizer for you!We also love the onion rings, the burger sliders, the flatbread pizzas, and the sandwiches. My personal winter favorite is the French onion soup. It’s extra cozy on a snowy night.Tavern also offers an alll-you-can-eat Sunday brunch for $18/person. They have several breakfast staples as well as some regular menu options. They have a Tavern club card that you pay a one time fee to sign up for (I think $25? But not positive about that) but then you get 20% off every bill forever! So we’ve been using that for years. (Yes, the discount even applies on top of happy hour prices!)This is just an all around great place if you’re looking for a tasty dinner, after work drinks, or weekend brunch.

The crab dip appetizer and pumpkin cake dessert were both phenomenal. However the gyro sliders were disappointing, with very little meat overwhelmed by shredded lettuce and tzatziki. Friendly service, reasonable prices for an Edina lunch spot.
