Been many times now. Never disappointed with Tavern23!
The food was great and although our server was nice - she was not too quick about her service. She forgot my salad before the meal and brought it out after I was halfway done with my food and still charged me for it. Then she also put the wrong items on my bill and the bill of the folks I was with... First bad experience there - I will try again ...
We decided to just order off of the happy hour menu & were impressed with the quality & quantity of food! Plus sitting out on the patio in 90 degree weather was really comfortable in the shade of the trees. Lovely atmosphere & fun waitstaff!
Our server was awesome and understood we wanted to catch up and not be rushed. The food was good and as expected. The server checked back and was attentive but not obtrusive. I would recommend dining here and will be back.
I always love this place but last night, the server was not very attentive - young fella, so maybe he was newer. Otherwise, the food was amazing as always!!
The vibe felt a lot more upscale than the food presented itself to be. The food in itself was good, but not good enough for the prices listed. I also am not a huge fan of the constraint of the happy hour being limited to the bar room or patio - especially because on rainy days like today, we were forced to sit in the dining room versus outside, and the bar room was packed. It should be consistent throughout the restaurant, especially if the weather constrains customers.

Forgot chips and guacamole first. Egg was requested hard and was super runny.
We ordered the putine and calamari for appetizers and would highly recommend it to anyone. Pretty filling . The Chickem enchilada was a deconstructed kind but flavourful and meaty. The Mongolian Beef was sweeter than we expected . Desserts we tried were the turtle cheesecake and creme Brule which were good portions and enough for 4 people Over all good experience. Ambience outside was good too. Great service
Great atmosphere, patio is charming, food/drinks are a great value at happy hour. Staff very friendly.
