Outstanding!!! Loved the authentic street tacos… they aren’t for everyone especially if you’ve been brought up to think TacoHell is Mexican… tried the Asada and the tripas. Both were excellent but tripas were my favorite, just rock star level. The salsas were all good, none of them overly hot so give them all a try..The wait was a bit long but well worth it. I’ll be back!!
I ordered the birra tacos. They were pretty good would have been better but I DD so they were kinda cold so the cheese wasn't gooey anymore.
I live south of the twin cities, but anytime I come to a conference at the Hilton Double Tree I am sometimes MORE EXCITED that I get to eat Taco Libre. Great staff, great food. I’m gonna keep coming back. IWNDWYT
Order at the counter and pick up your food when they call you, i.e. everything is made to order. Our group had the nachos, flaunts, street tacos, and tacos Americano-- a pretty broad sampling. Each of us enjoyed our dish. Serving size and quality were good value for the price. Friendly staff. Don't miss the salsa bar with three excellent and flavorful options.
Second time at this awesome restaurant. Definitely returning on my next visit to the Twin Cities. Everything is great. Spicy salsas. Delicious tortillas make every dish special.
Pretty great Mexican food! Sometimes it's hard to find good Mexican food here in Minnesota and Taco Libre is great. The salsa bar was super nice and the food was all around delicious. Only complaint is that I don't have more
WOW! Being from Australia, our choices are kind of limited for authentic Tacos and Nachos. This was the best nachos I've had from any "fast food" place, anywhere! Looking forward to trying the other menu items!
This place, eat in or take out, considered fast food I imagine, had the largest Mexican menu I have ever seen. Most of the dishes I never heard of. I had a Machete? Very good. You have a choice of hot sauces to put in containers. The super hot is fire. Better have a fire extinguisher with you. I will definitely go back when I'm in the Cities to taste and find out all that I'm missing!
Tried this place for the first time and it was amazing! Torta with Carne asada bread not soggy but crispy fresh ingredients. Hubby ordered steak burrito also amazing. Horchata and Fresca water also amazing churros were fresh and crispy on the outside soft on the inside. My kids got the quesadillas, they loved them. The best Mexican I have had in Minnesota by far!
My family and I went to Taco Libre and had a good time. The food was delicious, but the service was a little slow. However, it did appear that they were understaffed, and we were understanding of the fact that sometimes good food takes time.
