We got two birthday cakes (strawberry and raspberry) in early April for a party. Multiple people said it was the best cake they ever had, and I agree. If you are looking for a special occasion cake this is a great place to start
I came because of the great reviews and I have to agree, these are the best croissants I've had in the Twin Cities! I also got the raspberry muffin which is just amazing! I will definitely be coming here again for these delicious pastries!!!
This was our first visit, we had the beignets, croissants, cinnamon rolls, and a few macarons. The beignets, croissants, and cinnamon rolls were incredible! Absolutely loved them! However, the macarons lacked flavor and I don't think were dried long enough as they were incredibly soft. I will say the softness could have resulted from the bag they were put in and the higher humidity but the flavor still just wasn't there which is a bummer because everything else we had was amazing.
Best Macarons I have had. Flakey but chewy and so flavorful. Highly recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed.
This little neighborhood gem deserves nothing but high praise, in my opinion. Friends and family from miles away have requested Margo’s culinary treats for special events. I carried them many miles! I’ve learned it’s best to get there earlier in the day for best selections. Staff is wonderful, food is always delicious and all is freshly baked every day they are open. I enjoy some of the seasonal specials…especially during peach season, soups are delicious, and quiche is a family favorite! Throughout the pandemic, these treats were safely available to us. I am so appreciative.
Our new favorite bakery! We've gone for two straight weekends because the cinnamon rolls (cream cheese frosting!), pecan rolls, bran muffins, and shortbread are so so good! I have yet to try something I don't like. I'm slowly working through the whole menu... And my waistline hates me for it. ?
I love the quiche here, great prices too. We also always have good service.
Very disappointed. No charm, no ambience. No indoor seating. Outside seating only on unpadded metal chairs. Bugs buzzing around. I had hoped to get some work done but could not use laptop outside too sunny and hot. As a business woman, I will not stop here again. The chocolate crossaint was just ok.
I was very disappointed in the lack of ambience and how its still closed off for inside seating. Only outside available, where seats are very hard. As a person who drives alot for my business, I was hoping to find a charming spot to do some computer work in between appointments. Sorry to say, I will not be back, even tho the pain d' chocolate was good.
Truly some of the best pastries in the metro. The blueberry scone is my personal favorite, but every baked food I’ve tried has been consistently delicious and well-baked. The friendly staff are an added perk! A don’t-miss bakery.
